Dr. Tauth is a very nice doctor. I've seen him twice now, and each time, he has made time for me. I really do trust him as my heart doctor.
Dr Tauth is the best!
Two visits then he was Fired before follow up appointment. Look up Dr Tauth and National Park Hospital and DOJ.
Dr.Tauth did surgery on my husband Ray Anthony 20 years ago. Ray was a diabetic and had several health issues. Dr. Tauth saved his legs from being amputated. Blessed to have him as his doctor. Sincerely Beverly Watts

Leventis, U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee. Jeffrey G. Tauth, M.D., 60, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, is a cardiologist who treated patients at Hot Springs National Park Hospital Holdings, LLC d/b/a National Park Medical Center (NPMC) and National Park Cardiology Services, LLC d/b/a Hot Springs Cardiology Associates. The United States alleges that from September 2013 through August 2019, Tauth submitted or caused the submission of claims for payment to the Medicare Program for cardiac stents that Tauth inserted into Medicare patients that were not medically necessary. As part of the settlement, Tauth has agreed to pay $900,000 and will enter into an Integrity Agreement with the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS). “Health care fraud is a top priority of this office,” said U.S. Attorney Leventis. “We will aggressively pursue all those who are involved in fraud against government programs. Whether it be a corporate entity or an individual provider, those who seek to exploit patients and federal health care programs for financial gain can expect to be the focus of our civil and criminal enforcement efforts. As Lifepoint has done here, we encourage those who may become aware of false claims to be proactive in ceasing and disclosing the conduct, particularly when there are allegations of unnecessary medical procedures.” The settlement follows a November 2019 voluntary disclosure to this Office pursuant to the protocols of the HHS Office of Inspector General, by Brentwood, Tennessee-based Lifepoint Health (Lifepoint), which acquired NPMC and Hot Springs Cardiology Associates in November 2018. As a result of the voluntary disclosure, the United States entered into a settlement with NPMC and Hot Springs Cardiology in October 2020 for alleged violations of the False Claims Act, wherein the entities agreed to pay $14,669,586, including over $9,000,000 in restitution. "Submitting claims for medically unnecessary procedures undermines the integrity of federal health care programs and wastes valuable taxpayer dollars," said Tamala E. Miles, Special Agent in Charge with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the Inspector General. "HHS-OIG will continue to work tirelessly alongside our law enforcement partners to protect the integrity of federal healthcare programs and to ensure the appropriate use of U.S. taxpayer dollars." This case was investigated by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services – Office of Inspector General. Assistant U.S. Attorney Kara F. Sweet represented the United States. The claims resolved by the settlement are allegations only and there has been no determination of liability. # # # # # Contact David Boling Public Affairs Officer 615-736-5956 david.boling2@usdoj.gov Updated January 5, 2023 Topics HEALTH CARE FRAUD Component USAO - Tennessee, Middle Related Content PRESS RELEASE Physician Charged In $9.5 Million Health Care Fraud Conspiracy December 14, 2022 PRESS RELEASE Owner & Operator Of Former Nashville-Based Lowry Medical Supply, Inc. He is currently my physician for heart issues and, in years past, he was the heart specialist my husband selected for treatment.
He is the BEST..has saved my husband more than once. HIGHLY recommended. If your "inconvenienced" with a wait or tests or whatever required so be it. You want the best care correct? He's the best.
Awesome people and Doctor that really ❤ 💅 ❤ 💅 ❤ 💅 ❤
Dr Tauth an staff are awesome.
Dr. TAUTH'S RECEPTIONIST KARRIE IS THE BEST🌟⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟 I called to make an appointment for my husband, Michael who had not been seen in 2 plus years expecting it to be a headache but Karrie was going to get him seen by this coming Monday! Although, that date was not good for Michael so Karrie helped us decide on a better date a couple of weeks out and MADE IT A BREEZE! Dr. Tauth's patients are so BLESSED to have someone so KIND & HELPFUL IN KARRIE!!!💛🌟💛ESPECIALLY, during the crazy times in which we live!! Karrie is even getting his referral from our family practitioner!😯🙂 I don't know about anyone else but almost any other type specialist has always said, "get a referral & call back to make apmt".....NOT KARRIE! SHE'S GETTING IT FOR HIM!! Thanks a million times over Karrie! I don't believe I've ever spoken with anyone that helped me with making a doctor's appointment as easily done as you! Also, for anyone looking for a cardiologist, Dr. Tauth is the VERY BEST in the our area! We live over an hour away but we'd drive even farther if we had to so Michael could be seen by Dr. Tauth! Michael's ALWAYS wanted me to be there to listen at his doctor's appointments, especially, when it comes to SERIOUS HEALTH ISSUES/CARE & heart disease is a pretty serious health issue😏 & thankfully, Dr. Tauth ALWAYS, of course, talks to Michael & makes HIM, MICHAEL HIS #1 PRIORITY as it should be but he's ALWAYS included me in the conversation if I had a question unlike his last heart doctor! I will not say any names but when I asked his last cardiologist if he thought he needed a blood thinner....he snapped at me that he knew he didn't need one....less than a year later Michael had another heart attack while working out of state but thankfully a stent fixed the problem! The doctor in the state he was working told him "he should have been on blood thinners since day 1 post surgery" so when he came back home to Arkansas he had me find him a new cardiologist!! I FOUND DR. TAUTH FOR HIM BECAUSE OF THE AMAZING REPUTATION HE HAS WITH FAMILY & FRIENDS HE TREATS!! DR. TAUTH IS NOW HIS CARDIOLOGIST 💛🌟💛 DR. TAUTH IS HANDS DOWN THE VERY BEST CARDIOLOGIST IN THE HOT SPRINGS AREA!!! Dr. Tauth is the cardiologist to both the man I chose to spend my life with & my dad! He was my pappaw's, as well! Michael is 54 & I'm 51 and I know if I need a cardiologist myself, it will be Dr. Tauth!!! I know it has been 2 plus years since we've made the trip to Hot Springs for Michael to see Dr. Tauth but I suppose it's obvious, Dr. Tauth made QUITE AN IMPRESSION ON ME IN HIS TREATMENT FOR THE HEART I'M STILL IN LOVE WITH & WANT TO KEEP BEATING FOR MANY MORE YEARS!! KARRIE, YOUR HELPFULNESS & KINDNESS TODAY WHEN WE SPOKE OVER THE PHONE REMINDED ME OF WHY WE LOVE DR. TAUTH AS MICHAEL'S HEART DOCTOR!!!! 💛🌟💛Thanks again💛🌟💛 🙏💛🙏God Bless🙏💛🙏

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
