poor customer service and follow up by the staff nothing went well on either visit.... fool me once, shame on you fool me twice, shame on me.... second time worse than the first time. First time my Rx was to include 3 sets of numbers: 1 for seeing distance, 1 for the computer, and 1 for reading. When I got the Rx, it only had seeing distance. I was at at another facility to get fitted, so called back to Holt to get the other numbers, it took 3 calls over 45 minutes to finally get the info. Second visit, they were taking people back to the rooms who came in after I arrive (and I was early) but they took these people during my scheduled visit. After 30 minutes past my appt time, they offered to reschedule my appt. It's a 40 drive from where I live to where the facility is located. I told the girl at the desk, if I leave, I won't be coming back... her response ok.... I guess they dont need or want my business... and they lost it.

The doctor did nothing to help me with my problems. I’ve had partial tear duct blockage for 6 months and asked doctor to dilate and irrigate it as I did it 10 years ago at the other ophthalmologist’s office. Md Jefferey Holt said he would not do it and if I want it to be done, I’d better go to the other clinic. I also had a chalazion on my other eye that needed to be opened as I’d had it for more than 4 months and no other treatments helped. MD Holt prescribed to me erythromycin ointment that I had been using for all that time with no improvement. I am greatly disappointed with my experience with this clinic and the medical services the doctors can perform there.

Had cataract surgery less than a month ago and am amazed at the beautiful spring flowers and trees sprouting leaves that I have been missing for years because of fear of surgery. Now I wish I had done this years ago but we only moved to the area so I am thrilled with Dr. Jeff Holt and his staff.

After having lived in the area for five years, I had not found an ophthalmologist that I felt entirely comfortable with. It was not the case with Dr. Holt and his office. It is clean, well run and everyone is courteous and professional in their actions. My vision history is complicated and it is very assuring to me that I can feel relaxed about my care with the Holt Eye Clinic and Dr. Holt.
