I have a short list of doctors that I absolutely trust their expertise. Dr. Johnson is one of them. He has a forthright manner, very thorough in questions and answers, and after visiting 4 different dermatologists over the past several years, he has helped my family’s dermatological needs very quickly and sufficiently. In the past, I have thrown money at several dermatological issues, only to go back and keep throwing more at the problem. With Dr. Johnson, he tries his best to solve the issue quickly and with cost effectiveness. I am so glad someone recommended him to me!

I had been seeing him once a year for a few years. The most recent visit he accused me of something that could be detrimental to my job and my children. His exact words "I think you just like taking pills" When he prescribed ONE medication to me (spironolactone - for my skin). I'm not done with spreading this complaint yet. Normally, I'd have gone off. But I broke down when I left the office. I could NOT believe that he said that to me, in front off one of the staff as well. I won't go back and I will be seeing a new dermatologist. I definitely wouldn't let my teen who is having skin issues see him, either.

I have had my nails treated for years for fungus. Dr Johnson diagnosed Psoriasis. It wasn't pleasant but once a month for 9 months i had my nails injected in his office. Now i go every 4 months and they are completely healed. I was going to have my thumbs cut off at the nail. Glad Dr Johnson talked me off That ledge. Thanks, Doc, you are a miracle worker.

Dr. Johnson proceeded to freeze three spots around my lips without first asking if I wanted the procedure or explaining the unsightly results that would occur for several days. I only went in for the appointment for a skin check and wasn't expecting anything to actually be done at that appointment. This was my first experience with this type of treatment and my first appointment with this doctor.

Dr. Johnson is a great doctor. He and his staff are very friendly and helpful. He took time with you and explain everything. He treated me at Hot Springs and at Nashville for skin cancer. I was very pleased with the results.

I have used several dermatologists in the Southwest Arkansas area, from Texarkana to Hot Springs, for both myself and my two teenage sons. Dr. Johnson was by far the best. He takes time with each of my boys and addresses them directly, explaining everything they need to do regarding their acne. They think he fantastic and they appreciate his calm and sincere demeanor.
