List of Donovan Stockdale's Reviews
I have been using Dr. Stockdale for over 10 years. He has preformed numerous EGD's with esophageal balloon dilations, and has treated me for a nutcracker esophagus. There have been times that I can tell that he is rushed, but as a nurse for over 40 years I know this happens. His NP MaryAnn has always been very helpful and caring. I have read the other reviews that are low, but based on my experience with Dr. Stockdale I am satisfied with the care I have received and will continue to use him for my GI condition.
Dr. Stockdale was very rude in treating my father. Dad had an infection at the site of an insertion and Dr. Stockdale was very indifferent. He clearly didn't care, which was especially troubling because we felt he was responsible for wound care. My father eventually recovered but we we shocked by Dr. Stockdales indifference.
Update to my previous review. After my complaints about mistakes made in my care, I have been refused any further treatment by this entire office and was not allowed to speak to Dr. Stockdale; with no reason given. Without knowledge about why I have been blackballed, I have to warn everyone to avoid this office. There are serious problems there and it appears to be centered with Dr. Stockdale's APN.
My father's experience with Dr. Stockdale and NP has been mediocre. NP failed to perform a physical assessment of surgical site and drain placed by MD. Day after GI f/u, my father exhibited signs of infection as evidenced by fever, chills, and malaise. Who doesn't assess a surgical site upon follow up appointment. Disappointed.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
