The NEA Urology department sucks. I’ve had to call them 3 times today. Finally just talked to the nurse about the pain and she said “dr suminski is already gone for the day so the best we can do is try to address the issue in the morning”. I had surgery on Friday morning. Having bad pain and can’t speak to anyone about getting better pain management.

Always make an appointment to be seen promptly. Otherwise typically hours before you are worked in assuming it happens. Could wait all day. Nice people mostly.

The l&d triage is a joke. Multiple contractions and dilated and they turned me away numerous times saying I had a UTI when they never even checked my pee! Then when I questioned dr Bellamy my obgyn about it they got MAD AT ME for asking questions and told me it was a whole different issue and to take medicine for something they never tested. THEN he stopped doing ultrasounds on me at19 weeks. Charged me $200 for the last ultrasound HE REQUESTED for growth. And then told me I’m NOT 40 weeks I was 37 when I was 40!!! And refused to induce me bc the hospital wouldn’t have enough staff. YALL ARE A JOKE OF A HOSPITAL!

My mom has received amazing care over the last 6 weeks here, the nurses and staff go above and beyond to make sure she is well taken of. My only complaint is the woman security guard who refused to allow me back in the front door when I had stepped out to get some fresh air, with no phone in hand to call my husband to come get me and the keys to my car inside I had to walk all the way around the hospital to the ER in the dark to get back in as she sat at the front desk watching me beg her to let me in. The second time is when I arrived at 7:02 pm she told me it was exit only after 7 I’d have to use the ER to get in, no wonder the ER parking is always full visitors who work all day have to… More

Last night/today I am thankful for the ER staff, doctor, and respiratory team! My girl hasn’t been feeling her best and we took her in for peace of mind. She has a bad upper respiratory infection. And they never once questioned her on how she was feeling or made her feel like she didn’t know. (She’s 5). We have had an instance before where that did happen. But the workers tonight were amazing with her! A special shout out to Stevie (respiratory). My girl is obsessed with stethoscopes and after she was finished she let her listen to her! So a big THANK YOU to the staff at NEA! You rock! 🖤 🖤
