Had cataract surgery on both eyes, Dr was great, put me at ease during surgery crackling jokes or just talking had great experience with them nurses was totally awesome

Terrible. They neglected to tell me that they DO NOT accept vision insurance, only medical. Even though not only did we call and they didn't say anything about not accepting vision insurance, we went to the appointment and gave the ladies my insurance card and once again nothing was said and then when we left the appointment we stopped at the front and they didn't ask us for anything they told us we were good to go. I was never told they didn't accept vision and I was never told to pay anything and now I'm getting bills in the mail.

My mother in law had first surgery a month ago . She has worn glasses since 13 year of age. She is in her 80’s now. Her first surgery went awesome!!! She could see thing she was never used to seeing! She did get the advanced eye surgery it totally corrected her stigmatism. Today she is having her other eye done and she totally did not dread it she was excited! I will say this the parking is bad and of course no one can go inside with them with the COVID going on. And the entrance in the back of the building well in front of the door you enter the handicap access is at the end of sidewalk.. you have to step up the curb to go in. With my mother in laws glasses fogged up because mask she could judge her distance stepping up and fell. The wheelchair access should be at the entry door as there is already a wheelchair access at the exit door where they bring you out. My mother in law come out last time and was in no pain and remembered everything. Her head was numb like going to a dentist but it was at the top of her head lol that is normal. I highly recommend Southern Eye!!!!

I cannot say enough about how pleased and happy I was with my outcome. I had my first cateract removed Monday. I honestly cannot remember ever being able to see so well. The staff was excellent and caring. I can't wait to get my second cateract removed.

I had lasik done here and I am more than thankful for the results. The staff was friendly and helpful and Dr. Margolis did an excellent job on my eyes. I had stigmatisms and poor eye sight. Now I have 20/15. Thank you.
