Very happy to have been referred to Dr McCammon by my PCP. He has a great bed side manner. Very thorough and straightforward which I appreciate. Explained the growth on my thyroid and the biopsy procedure. He also took his time and showed me the ultrasound pics and size of growth. Answered all my questions. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a thoughtful, intelligent, caring, thorough endocrinologist for their thyroid.
Dr McCammon and staff are Very efficient from Registration, labs, US and office visit. Very pleased with the service.
I will start by expressing that this is not a biased review. I’m not sure why people are giving this doctor 1 star on here and ESPECIALLY without an explanation. It’s ridiculous. Dr McCammon has been nothing short of fantastic. He is extremely kind, patient, and caring. Not once has he done anything with us to deserve a 1 star review. The office handles things very efficiently and is helpful in every regard. My wife and I are very pleased to be seen here and will be returning with any and all future needs.Thank YOU Dr. McCammon and staff!- Ryan Isabell
I had an appointment with Dr. McCammon and went during my lunch hour. I waited for two hours and asked the receptionist what was going on and she stated McCammon was in surgery. I understood and asked to change my appointment. When I went to my primary care doctor a week later they advised that McCammon called and told them I was a no show for my appointment and dismissed me as a patient.
Full of himself, thinks he knows everything, doesn’t actually know a lot
Whats up Dan? Not your patient but unfortunately I do have Type 2. My brother showed me where the Rickards got a pool! So naturally I thought about Google mapping your old house. Not sure exactly which one it was. Just thought Id say Hi. Looks like youre doing great. It sure has been a long time. God bless!
Dr. McCammon is the best doctor I've ever seen. Very thorough and patient in explaining your diagnosis. Never in a hurry to get out. Very kind doctor. I can't say anything negative about his care!
Dr. McCammon will take the time to listen to your concerns, explain and discuss any questions about your treatment plan with you, very pleasant and highly knowledgeable. One thing I truly appreciate is the onsite lab, where you get most if not all of your lab results immediately processed and have access at the doctor visit.
Very dissatisfied. I have really felt bad and I had a knot come up on my neck and he started arguing with the ultrasound tech before he even seen the screen and then just kept telling me that since my levels are in the normal range that Im fine no matter how I feel. and that all my symptoms are just in my head and if I feel bad I just need to be on an antidepressant. and he dont listen to anything I say, just makes you feel dumb and like you dont know your own body.
I think Dr. McCammon was possibly one of the worst doctors Ive ever seen. I was very very sick, with an unexplained weight loss of 35 lbs. about half my hair had fallen out and I was SICK. I strangely had hyperparathyroidism which is often associated with kidney failure and other scary diseases. He said mine was caused by not consuming enough dairy products.....and he really didnt care to probe any further than that. Then he proceeded to give me meds that I kept reporting I couldnt take because they gave me horrific abdominal pain but...he said that drug did not cause abdominal pain. Worst doctor Ive ever had to deal with.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
