He replaced my gastro doctor that retired. He was not helpful. He became more and more stressed at me because I was not being better. I was stressed enough. He seems to believe that anyone who needs some basic medications is looking! I am only trying to work through my pain. Very unkind to do to someone who is drug free and 65.

Dr Hughes is just wonderful! Kindest most patient Dr ever. I had a colonoscopy yesterday. I’m alone , scared to death and sick when I started it. He assured me I d be ok and that he d do his very best for me and he DID! I got in to see him quickly on referral from another DR and he is so easy to communicate with. I give him an A+ and a 10 for bedside manners! ??

Dr. Hughes is excellent! He listened to my husband and I thoroughly during our appointment, and we never felt rushed. He formulated a treatment plan immediately for my husbands ulcerative colitis, and gave us confidence that he would never allow my husband to be so sick again. He is respectful and answers every question. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a trustworthy doctor. He is great!

Dr. Hughes was very thorough. He read the history that my PCP and I provided, and asked questions for further history/clarification. I never felt rushed during my appointment, and felt that I actually had his undivided attention. He explained the most likely causes for my symptoms, and the tests that would be necessary to give us an accurate diagnosis. This was a very positive experience for me, and I will have no problem recommending Dr. Hughes to anyone needing a gastroenterologist.
