Dr. Newbolt is one of the good docs out there. He is patient and explains things clearly and seems like he truly cares about his patients. My Lasik went great and I’m so grateful to him for giving me my sight back! It was a completely different experience than the Lasik consult I did at one of the hack shops where I found out they fly in docs from another state and then you’re out of luck if something goes wrong! Highly recommend Dr. Newbolt.

Good enough surgeon - but does not take the time to help patient select best lens for them. I ended out with a lens wrong for me in my first eye, and had great difficulty getting him to understand that I did not want just the same lens in my second eye. We did finally discuss lens options, but this did not happen until an ophthalmologist in the same McFarland group practice left him a note and made me a special appointment with him for that purpose.

He took time to listen to my concerns and is a very patient Doctor. My eye surgery results are excellent.

I needed to have my eyes checked recently because I was worried about cataracts developing and whether I would need surgery. Dr. Newbolt is so kind and caring. He patiently answered all of my questions. I only had to wait 20 minutes for my morning appointment Everyone in the office was super friendly and also answered all of my questions. If you are having eye problems, you should see him-you will not be disappointed.
