dr barber discovered i had cancer in my tonsils while there about an hearing problem.. it was already late stage 3 and would have been stage 4 had it been a different variant of the type cancer i had.. i had no symptoms other than a swelling in my neck, that i had never noticed. turns out to be the same cancer that recently took eddie van halens life.. it was very timely of him to catch this .. i had been to my family physician 3 or 4 times over recent months with problems that could have clued them into a possible issue, as well another ENT in NLR.. thank you dr barber.. after a year battle i am happy to report i am now cancer free. enjoy your retirement.
Exceptional physician.
Great experience visiting Dr. Barber for our 1 week old. Very skilled and patient, as we had our 2 and 4 yr olds with as well. :) Would definitely recommend him.
Dr. Barber is exactly the kind of doctor you dream of, Very professional. Listens to you. Very personable.
Going into my procedure I was scared to death, and had been to another ENT who was THE WORST! I'd read all the horror stories about an adult tonsillectomy. Dr Barber was very patient with me and was willing to answer and explain all my questions thoroughly. The day of surgery he stopped by my bed several times to talk with me and make sure I was at ease. His nurses were amazing! I don't remember their names because I was quite out of it, but they were so nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend Dr Barber to anyone having tonsil related issues.
He is definately not knowledgable about thyroid problems. Not friendly doesn't listen to patients needs as well as take into symptoms. A patient knows their body better than anyone so it's important to listen not just brush them off. In the business of being money hungry & referring the problem to other people. Wish he would say this is out of my expertise instead of saying things that aren't logical. Especially with so much research on thyroids on the Internet... Was not impressed! Definately wouldn't let him come near surgery on my throat!
Dr. Barber did surgery on me for nasal polyps, which was a complete success. I had been barely able to breath through my nose for years, and now I can breath normally again. Dr. Barber and the people in the office were both nice and helpful.
After many visits to my GP and another ENT, Dr. Barber was able to dx my problem with my ear. It turned out that I have a rare autoimmune disease that was the cause of the pain and inflammation in my ear. He is a fantastic doctor!
I've been very happy with this doctor. After two years of fighting off an infection, he was the first doctor to give me some answers. He listened intently and came up with a great plan for resolving my sinus problems.
Poor "bedside manner". Did not seem to want to spend much time with me. There were other patients waiting...Did not give me much information.
