Avoid Nolen at all costs. He missed key findings on testing prior to surgery-which he encouraged and should have been total routine- which largely contributed to my father’s passing. Additionally, he could not be bothered to release death certificate for days. Avoid at all costs. All other docs at Heart Hospital are amazing. My father was an 8 year pancreatic survivor only to pass from ineptness at what was a very routine surgery with minimal risk and extremely high success rate based on docs advice. AWFUL. Worst part was he is extremely uncaring.

He saved my boyfriend's life! He had a 50% chance of surviving the surgery.. he is thriving!!! A wk later they are saying his recovery is miraculous!! Can't say enough about this Dr!!!

Dr. Nolan performed a quadruple coronary arteries bypass on my husband, July 29, 2019! We had not heard of him prior to my husband being diagnosed on July 25, 2019! Dr. Nolen is a man of few words but his persona emanated a feeling of comfort! I sensed that God had placed my husband in the care of Dr.Nolen! He was patient with me as I asked question after question; even his personal relationship with Christ! He held hands with my husband and I as I prayed aloud! That act made me feel even more so that God was in the plan for Dr. Nolen to be the assigned surgeon! After he announced that the surgery had gone well I spontaneously wrapoed my arms around himbin gratitude and he did nor apoear to be offended! My husband and I know that God is the ultimate surgeon; however, we are grateful for His servant, Dr. Michael Nolen.

Dr. Nolen did an amazing, skilled and phenomenal Mitral valve replacement on my husband. He had to have two seperate surgery's On the same day nearly 10 hours apart. Complications arose and Dr Nolen handled and made the right professional decisions to ease Billy still recovering. He's improving and feel blessed to have Dr. Nolen as surgeon and caring for my husband.

Dr. Nolen is the GREATEST! In April 2018 , he performed a Septal Myectomy and mitral valve replacement. He did an excellent job and the care I received at the AR Heart Hospital was the absolute best. All the staff from those in the operating room, to nursing staff and other support staff were wonderful. Thank you Dr. Nolan for a job well done.
