He did my first lower back surgery year's ago I had no issues afterwards

I had my 1st back surgery back in 2000 at the age of 18, done by Dr. Schlesinger. I wasn't given any options besides surgery, and had a scar the size of a silver dollar. Unfortunately I have had to have 3 more back surgeries, one about every 5 yrs, (Not Schlesinger) over the last 20 yrs to correct how badly Schlesinger effed up my back. I had a L-5 S-1 herniated Disc. On my post op visit he poked his head in the door asking how I was doing then left. I have lived with chronic pain since 2000. I also had a foot drop after the surgery by Schlesinger, and never regained feeling in my foot. I do feel lighting and burning in my foot CONSTANTLY. My new surgeries were to clean up and repair my spine from damage to it due to Schlesinger. Please don't let him butcher u like he did me. If u want a surgeon who will treat u like a human being and not a paycheck go to Ortho Arkansas. They are the best, I have had 2 back surgeries (Dr Richard Peek, my angel on earth) and my husband had one (Dr. McCarthy). They have an amazing beside manner, unlike Dr. Schlesinger. I know it's been a long time ago, but my quality of life has been destroyed because of this first surgery. I wanted (and still wish) to be a paramedic but that dream was destroyed because of this horrific butchering of my spine. I am now on full disability. So I wanted to make sure I saved someone else from the pain & suffering of my life. Call Ortho Arkansas!

I have had nothing but good service . He is still working on my many problems with my neck and back. Would highly recommend there service to anyone that needs a great doctor.

Dr. Scott has performed two surgeries on me and both have been very successful. My first was in 1997 on my lower back. I have recommended 5 people since then to Dr. Scott. Hopefully not but if I have any more trouble he is the one I’ll call.

Always professional and knowledgeable...overall the best run and efficient medical clinic I have dealt with..and I continue to receive care and support as of today..

I have seen Dr Schlesinger for about 10 or 11 years now he is the best Doctor I have ever had. He doesnt want to do surgery on u unless he absolutely has too. I went for 4yrs unable to walk.. we tried every injection he could it just didnt work for me. I had surgery and before that he said dont worry I'm gonna fix u. U will be able to walk again. I was terrified to have back surgery. But went through it and as soon as I woke up from surgery all I wanted to do is try to walk. I had.to wait for PT to come around to get.me they got him down there and we walked and I cried because I could walk again. He asked how far do u want to walk and I said look at that exit sign way down there he said yeah I said let's just keep going right out that door. He laughed said we cant do that. But that is how good I felt. I went home the next day and it worked for me for 6 yrs and had another surgery and that one as well went good. I have recommended him to everyone I know that us having back trouble. I know for a fact I have had 4 people go see him. Even my daughter, my uncle sees him and now my husband. So if u need a good back dr. Dr Schlesinger is ur man. The BEST in the country. Thank u Dr Schlesinger for everything u do and still doing for me and my family we thank u from the bottom of our hearts. Dr. Scott was very thorough in his explanations of my options. He made it easy to understand.

The staff treated me very well. I felt comfortable and informed at all times. I ended up having an epidural steroid injection in my back. The people at this center were amazing!!

Dr Schlesinger performed a spinal cord stimulator on me. One year later another doctor had to go in and correct what he did. He left loose wires. I tried call, my nurse that was assigned to from workmen comp called and left messages and so did my case manager. You said my incisions would be 2.5 inches I had 6+ between my shoulder blades and 5.5 on my hip plus the one for drainage. I could go on and on! Dr Schlesinger, I called many times as well as my workmen’s comp nurse and case manager you would not take our calls or return them!
