She is terrible! Our daughter started having infantile spasms. Dr. Balmakund told us "no big deal she grew into them she'll grow out of them". After starting to have her spasms she started losing her head control, and being able to eat anything orally. Stuff that we had worked so hard to get to! We were advised to go get a second opinion so we went to Kansas City where we found out that what she told us was the furthest thing from the truth! Her body could have completely shut down! Since being at Kansas City not only are her spasms under control but so are her seizures. However, it has been almost 2 years and she still has not made it back to where she was were before. Anyone I have ever spoken to about Dr. Balmakund feels the same. Up at my daughter's therapies we have all taken our children to other doctors and have gotten positive results. To all the Mommas out there go to Kansas City. The drive is more than worth it! Please protect your babies from this woman.
