I came into the ER with an uncontrolled arrhythmia. I was in IC for 4 days and “Dr” Buschman kept assuring me that he would get my arrhythmia controlled. Finally at about 3:30 PM he came and said that he was going to send me home the following day. I couldn’t even get out of bed to use the bedside commode without my heart rate skyrocketing. My granddaughter came and ask that I be transferred to another hospital with a cardiologist on staff. When “Dr” Buschman heard of my request he came storming into the room shaking and red faced. My granddaughter politely reminded him that I had a leaking heart valve and we would like for me to be looked at by a cardiologist. This enraged him. I was finally transferred and I was immediately scheduled for open heart surgery. I was told that I was born with a leaking heart valve that had never been diagnosed until I was in the ER at the age of 68. My heart had become enlarged and my condition was critical. I have many such stories about this ”doctor”.
