I just had a hemorrhoidectomy done last Thursday. It has been a long and painful process, and Dr. Spore was the bright spot in it all. He was extremely kind, and not in a false kind of way you get a lot, but genuine compassion. My first appointment, he suggested an at home approach and recheck in 6 weeks, but told me if it got worse or more uncomfortable, dont hesitate to call sooner. I lasted about 3 weeks and called, asking for a sooner appointment. They got me in the next Monday. I went and Dr. Spore and I agreed that surgery was the next option. He had it scheduled for the very next week. I never felt like he was rushed or impatient with me. He didnt treat my questions like they were dumb or not important, and he was very upfront about the recovery pain. He and his staff are just amazing people, the friendliest you will ever find, and I'm lucky I had them to get me through an embarrassing and painful problem.

I was very pleased with Dr. Spore and his staff, and highly recommend them. Dr. Spore was extremely knowledgeable, reassuring, and caring, which was comforting to a guy who had never had to have surgery before. After being admitted to the hospital, Dr Spore came by daily to keep me informed of the tests and procedures that I was to undergo, and took the time to answer all the questions and concerns that I had. He did a great job, and I never had to take the pain meds he prescribed for me.

Dr. Spore did an outstanding job performing hernia surgery on me using the da Vinci robot at Baxter Regional Medical Center. I did not require and of the strong pain medication that he prescribed. He and his staff were always available to answer questions and he always saw me within 10 minutes of my appointment time.

Professional, courteous, patience to answer all questions, superior surgeon. Wife and I have both been operated on by Dr. Spore and it I have a choice he will be doing any future surgeries.

This doctor saved my life several years ago. The main artery in my leg was blow away just above my knee. I came close to loosing my leg in an accident. The grafting of a vein over the artery took many hours. Some thought I would never walk again, but I did and made a very good recovery. I will always be grateful to him.
