I contacted Dr. Byrd due to my hip problem, Instead of taking my case into consideration he recommended me Dr. Deinst who is located in Germany.Then I had hip arthroscopy with the german doctor, Since then I have worse hip pain follow procedure.I Dont recommend.

I want to thank Dr. Byrd for wonderful treatment through my daughter and my own hip surgery this past summer. He takes his time to assess us both each visit. He thoroughly evaluated each of us before deciding surgery was necessary. I appreciate his expert advise and care throughout this process. We are very blessed to have been referred to him!

I was introduced to Dr. Byrd and his amazing team through another top notch physicians referral. I was diagnosed with varying issues in both hips. Dr. Byrd’s staff got me right in and promptly evaluated me. When I tell you that each person that works on the staff is genuinely kind and incredibly competent, it’s the absolute truth. Knowing how in demand Dr Byrd is, I anticipated a brief office visit and then follow up via his staff. Boy, was I wrong! Dr Byrd was thorough, attentive, compassionate, knowledgeable, careful and entirely down to earth! What a pleasant surprise!I truly appreciated his methodical approach and the fact that he suggested surgery as a last resort.I went through 8 weeks of PT with his team as well. I’m here to tell you, the level of care that I received was second to none!I cannot say enough wonderful things about the entire team at The Nashville Hip Institute!!

Went from out of state to see him. Could not have been nicer and staff was incredible! Use to waiting forever in doctor office, not this one. Everything was setup and scheduled. My daughter seemed to be his only patient when we were in the room with him. He took the time to go over everything and checked on her when she was getting an injection. I can not think of a single bad thing to say or anything I would change with the visit. I don't know when the last time I have ever been able to say that about any place! Thank you to NP Beth for being so kind when my daughter was so scared of the injection.

Began having hip pain in September 2017. My ortho doctor referred me to Dr Byrd in February of 2018. From the very first visit in May 2018 until my final in July 2019 my husband and I can only praise Dr Byrd for his knowledge, the compassion, and treatment that he has given me during my year long journey. He performed arthroscopic surgery on my hip in November 2018. I’m pain free and back to performing my job(I’m a physical therapist) and my workouts with no problems or pain. Can’t thank him enough for all he had done not just the surgery but the time he took on every visit to explain and suggest what needed to be done. He also has a wonderful office staff the provided much assistance to us(special thanks to Ashley C. and Kay). Without your help Dr Byrd I wouldn’t be where I am today. Thanks so much and God bless!
