If I didn't know any better I think that the shoulder replacement is confused. Dr. Carpenter is a Pulmonologist, not an orthopedic surgeon. I guess now we know why they took away her pain meds. Dr. Carpenter has been taking care of my mother for some time and she is "top box" in my book and her staff are the kindest folks I have had the pleasure to work with.

The very terrible staff, very rude just had a 5th total shoulder replacement dr took my pain meds away on 2nd day after surgery. Which during a shoulder surgery they caused a bowel obstruction on 1st night then 2nd nite took my pain meds and i am leaving to go home where i can take my own meds and try to get some pain relieve. I should have paid more attention to the reviews on how BAD the STAFF is here i have been a surgery Rn for more than 30 years and never have i encountered such RUDE, HEARTLESS, UNCARING STAFF like they are here in this HOSPITAL, I will never come back to this place ever again, please do your research first

Doctor Carpenter is wonderful. However, the staff in the facility is less than mediocre. Especially a clinical assistant named Vicki. She does not follow up when she says she will get something scheduled. It is up to the patient to continually call her back after she says she will call you back. She doesn't and seems to have an "I don't care" attitude. Dr. Carpenter is wonderful, but much work is needed in training the peripheral staff.

Dr. Carpenter is the best. She knows the needs of her patients and cares about their health. She's the nicest and most caring physician I know.

Great doc. Takes her time with you and listens to your concerns. Very knowledgeable.The staff is very effecient and helpful. Recently was released from her care because my condition hasn't been a problem from over a year and I am now off all medication. As much as that was a major accomplishment, I will miss Dr Carpenter and the staff and will be back if I start having breathing issues again.
