Gihan Abdel Razik's Online Review Report Card

Dr Razik, has really helped me with a good diagnosis along with prescribing medication that has worked great in treating my illness. I have been a patient of Dr Razik since 2011, as far as I am concerned she has saved my life. Mark B

In my 40-plus years of receiving mental health care, I've never encountered a psychiatrist as devoid of warmth and compassion as Dr. Razik. After an impatient stay at Lindner Center, I was referred to Dr. Rezik. I saw her, twice, and both appts were only booked for 15 min. At my 2nd appt, I asked Dr R. a question about a new med that she'd prescribed, which I had discussed with my long-term therapist, and her demeanor immediately changed. She became hostile, defensive, confrontational, and abrasive. She told me she could no longer treat me "because I had demonstrated a lack of trust in her," by discussing treatment with my psychologist. I was in shock, truly stunned and devastated, especially since I had had to wait 2 months, prior to being able to see her (and it was a 2-hr. drive, to her office, round trip). In hindsight, I regret not filing a formal complaint against her, with the medical board that holds her license but, at the time, I lacked both the emotional and physical stamina to follow thru.

Dr Razik has saved my life. She is an excellent psychiatrist. Very knowledgeable and caring.

She is respectful and professional. Easy to talk to. And the meds she prescribed are working well for me. I felel she cares about me as a patient. I recommend her for anyone seeking professional help.

Dr. Razik has always listened & taken me seriously. She has worked very hard to help me find the right combination of meds. Best doctor I have ever had. My only complaint is the office staff. There seems to be a lot of turnover, and they're not always great when it comes to customer service. And god forbid you try to call for a refill. Don't know why that's such a problem, but they don't even bother to respond to my pharmacy. Dr. Razik herself is great, though.

My primary care physician recommended Dr. Razik. I looked up her reviews and was surprised to find them pretty average. I have great respect for my primary care physician, so made an appointment with Dr. Razik, in spite of some of the reviews. I'm so glad I did ! She is very intelligent, a good listener and compassionate. She's helped with my depression and anxiety, while being very respectful. She also gave me an excellent recommendation for a therapist. I highly recommend her.

I have been diagnosed with depression and anxiety and I am pleased with the service I am receiving from her. I see a therapist at the same office and they have been a great help.

Hands down she is the best doctor I have ever seen. Always on time. Knowledgeable and explains things well. Easy to talk to, yet very professional. She changed my diagnosis and finally I am on medicines that work for me.
