“Very mean nurses “..I was a patient of dr heck for over 10 years dr. Heck had became a good friend as my doctor ?????, If I had to cancel a appointment I always called in advance and canceled because of work but for some reason last year his nurse sent me a letter to my address stating I was no longer a patient of dr heck because I missed my second appointment in a year even when I came in on that day and paid My money they never mentioned it to Me nor was there any information about two visits termination they never mention It They never mentioned terminating My visits to dr heck to me I have called to speak with dr heck but that front office is mean an nasty
I called this office one day to schedule an appointment and keep in mind my husband has been going here for years. I was very emotional and not in a good spot. I was looking for help. I was in tears begging for an appointment Even after mentioning that I was self harming I was still rudely turned away. I found a dr to see me, just not one from clinic. I just feel sorry for the patients of this clinic.
Dr. Heck is the best!
Very nice and considerate. Short wait time
I've been seeing Dr. Heck for over 10 years! Both my husband and I see him for our annual checkups and any issues throughout the year. Dr. Heck is fairly thorough, although I sometimes feel he may rush through our annual checkups at times, but he sees a lot of patients on a daily basis. He referred me for my bariatric surgery five years ago, and has followed up with me on this all the way through. I feel I can trust him with any of my medical concerns.
I am a diabetic, heart patient, with a history of anemia from GI bleeding. In the last 10yrs, Dr Heck has always had a correct diagnosis, with the right treatment, on all of my issues. Even when he is caught off-guard, he always has the right answer. He has saved my life on more than one occasion. I am a pharmacist, so I’m probably a difficult patient. I feel blessed to have made the connection.
Dr. Heck is a nice southern doctor who listens to his patients. I have been going to him for several years, and I highly recommend him.
Dr. Heck and his team don't know how to properly bill insurance. Because of this, I am looking at a $120 bill for the exact same service with the exact same insurance as my husband. Yet somehow my husband's visit (which was properly billed as a WELLNESS EXAM, unlike mine) was paid in full by my insurance. Dr. Heck REFUSES to resend the claim to insurance, despite knowing that he sent both of ours in differently. P.S - it took 3 months to get in to see him in the first place.
Dr Heck has been my family doctor since Dr. Scott Harrington quit private practice. I have been very satisfied with Dr. Heck. He listens to his patients, has excellent diagnostic skills, and will not give up until he finds cause for your discomfort.
I've been seeing Dr. Heck for years now! It's easy to schedule an appointment and very little wait time! He takes his time to make sure everything is addressed. He's not an "in/out" Dr. He makes sure to address the actual issues at hand and not just throw something your way to get you out the door.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
