Dr. Richey has been my Dr. for probably 15+ years. He cares about you both as a patient and a person. His expertise is top flight. He handles what he can and if necessary refers you to a specialist. I have moved 3 hours away since I retired in 2016, but I will still keep Dr. Richey as my primary care physician as long as he is practicing. It is frustrating that Mercy uses an answering service and does not allow calls directly to the Paris Clinic, but that is not his choice.

Good doctor, but don t get sick. You have to wait 2 weeks just to get an appointment! When my kids are sick, I need an appointment within a day or two. I don t want to hear it s just not gonna work. Neither doctor in the office can get them in until after the new year.

Have had appointments with this Dr. Have not met him yet. He was on vacation not keeping appointments. Cancels appointments right at time of appointments.

This physician doesn t bother reading patient history or meds list. He doesn t listen. He caused unnecessary appointments by doing such small dosage increases of meds that typically start with a dosage three times what he prescribed. After four appointments over eight weeks, I still had no relief. Saw a different doctor who prescribed the meds the way they were meant to be. In the mean time he billed the hell out of my insurance. He does not care about his patients. It is worth the drive to ANY other town than Paris. His only concern is financial gain.

I would NOT recommend this doctor if you have to deal with his assistant Jesse Nicholas. Communication skills are absolutely horrible, she is very rude, never returns phone calls and places of blame very easily on other coworkers. Other staff members are very friendly and willing to help. However; if you deal with this particular lady nothing will ever get accomplished. She is definitely in the wrong line of business and does not care about her patients.
