List of Stacy Reed's Reviews
I have been to Reed Dermatology a few times for a variety of skin concerns. First, Dr. Reed is the only doctor who helped me resolve a skin issue I developed and have been managing for 8 months. I had been to two other doctors beforehand and they did not take my concern seriously. Dr. Reed listened to me helped me understand why I was having the issue and prescribed me what I needed to address and manage the issue. As a result, my skin condition is beginning to clear up. In addition to Dr. Reed, her staff is professional and helpful. I have been to Rachael on multiple occasions for hydro facials and other treatments. If you have not had a hydro facial before, I would highly recommend it. I have really sensitive skin and have ongoing skin issues; however, a hydro facial has been one of the only things that helped my skin's appearance and has not caused my skin to negatively react. Rachael is awesome and super knowledgeable about how to care for your skin.
This place rocks. I love coming in to see Rachel, the esthetician! She is amazing and I always leave with glowing skin. My fav treatment so far have been the hydrofacials. The team that works the front desk is always warm and welcoming and the wait is never long.
Last week was my 2nd visit with Dr. Reed. I first saw her about 4 years ago for my scalp itch of which she gave me steroid lotion for which has helped over the years. She doesn't give you much time to ask questions and she was out of the office in 10 minutes. Her first rude comment to me was that I have "old skin."Last week I got about the same amount of time maybe 15 minutes because I wanted a complete body check of concerns I had. Like I said she does not give you much time for questions. She froze 3 items on my skin and nothing has changed with them so far. I have a concern on my loser neck/ upper chest area that itches and small red pimple like sores show up. SHE TOLD ME TO JUST PUT LOTION ON IT? Really? I told her I have been doing that and nothing has changed, she said nothing back to me.I tried to show her a spot on my leg above my knee and when I tried to touch it and scratch with my finger nail she raised her voice, "DON'T SCRATCH THAT YOU WILL GET DEAD SKIN CELLS ON MY FLOOR!" Then when she asked me to remove my mask, I started to say something and she, "DON'T SPEAK WITH YOUR MASK OFF!." Yikes! She asked me why I was taking Ivermectin, and I told her for protection from the virus. She stated I hope you have gotten the shot and I said, no and don't plan on it. (She asked me this at the beginning of the visit) Another Doc pushing the jab!I fell I gave her a 2nd chance coming to her twice to see if she was any nicer to me. I will not tolerate a rude doctor for any reason.
continue to be very happy here. I've been through Shingles recently that she figured out asap and got me all the help I needed to get through it, with the meds etc. I also went through psoriasis 1.5 years ago in which I was miserable and Dr Reed was the one to figure it out and get me the help. great staff experience in every way as well. really like nurse Holly and the rest of the staff.
I had been going to Reed Dermatology for years and felt a shift in their attitude towards patients get worse and worse particularly since expanding into their new office. My last visit was in April 2021. I wanted to have a couple of spots on my face looked at. The receptionist estimated what the visit would cost minus my insurance and made me pay $153.00 up front. I have never seen that before! When I got the bill a few weeks later it only showed the amount the insurance paid and what I had to pay which was an additional $211.00 but did not show that I had already paid up front $153.00 the day of my visit. I called and left a message with Lisa (their bill collector). She called me back and when I answered the call I said thanks for calling me back and her reply was "OH, you called me?" She apparently didn't check her messages and didn't realize that I had called and was calling me to collect. I asked her why I was being charged this when I already paid up front $153.00 and why wasn't that reflected on my statement? She gave me an explanation about her system not allowing that and it made no sense to me. I told he how unorthodox that was and that most offices collect a co-pay not an estimate of the entire bill up front and then not put your up front payment on the statement. She told me that's the way they have been doing that for 2 years. I don't care how long you've been doing it, its still not a normal practice amongst most medical offices and how are we as patients suppose to reconcile our bill if it doesn't reflect everything you've paid. I sarcastically said, I guess im clear enough, Ill send out the payment. When I got in to see Dr Reed, she had me wear a mask the entire visit and missed a spot on my upper lip. I felt rushed so I forgot to mention it but had she removed my mask maybe she would have seen it. When I got home I called the office and asked her for a prescription for a peel. Her assistant Holly called back and said that Dr Reed rejected my request and said that she just did a thorough examination on my face and if I wanted her to look at that spot and get a prescription for a peel, I would have to schedule another visit. What? A thorough examination? How could she if my mask was on the entire time. Maybe she forgot that she had given me a prescription for a peel about a year before that I never used. I think that this office has forgotten that when someone comes in to their office they are usually concerned about something and expect to be given the time and treated with care, courtesy, dignity and respect. These changes are unfortunate! I used to think very highly of Dr Reed but not anymore. I will go find another Dermatologist that gives a damn.
This place delivered the most TERRIBLE customer service that I've ever experienced. During my visit, Dr Reed not only used a large amount of technical vocabulary to tell me her finds on my skin, but also rejected me everytime I requested to use my phone to quickly check on the words that I did not understand. She and the nurse Holly kept saying, all the information will be included in the patient handout. They had me pay for the visit upon my arrival and yet not allowing me to gain a full understanding while I was there. Hello? What was the point for paying over $200 to see a doctor that refused to answer questions then?Additionally, both Dr Reed and the nurse Holly ( BTW this nurse talked unfriendly too - what a team huh) have rushed me a couple times trying to get me out of their office so they can move to the next patient. The entire visit lasted less than 10 minutes. For this I totally agree with another review here saying "They treat you like an animal they can make money off of ". Apparently paying respect to patients is NOT a practise at this clinic.I've expressed my concerns with their office manager. She was nice listening to me out but honestly I'd understand that there's not that much she can do as an employee under Dr Reed since Dr Reed is the owner of the clinic. And as you can easily imagine how little they would care about the reviews.I found this clinic from the listed providers under my insurance so I didn't question it at first place. Now I've wasted $225 and my time, so I decided to share this experience here. Hope more people see my advice: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
Dr. Reed and her staff are courteous and professional. Dr. Reed is knowledgeable, puts people at ease and gives options that are more cost-effective to her patients. The office is relaxing and welcoming.
one visit was sufficient for dr reed to diagonose and prescribe the medicine.
Excellent physician and staff. She treated my infant son for a condition that required a procedure that would be uncomfortable for both him (physically) and I (mentally). She and her staff walked me through it all and offered care and support for as long as we needed.
Continue to be very happy with Reed Dermatology. They moved to a beautiful office, located in a great spot. I've been going here for several years for regular skin checks and every experience has been great. Dr Reed has always been very professional, knowledgeable and supportive. Her staff is also wonderful every single time and really appreciate the scheduling with Vicki. I've had several bouts of random issues and every time Dr Reed knows exactly what is needed to take care of the problem. My husband goes to Dr Reed now too. Thankful for Reed Dermatology.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
