I had wavefront LASIK, and I am delighted with the results. I'm now 2 weeks post-op and seeing 20/20. I've had a bit of dry eye, but it's improving. I know that the procedure has risks, but I'm glad I went forward. I trust Dr. Holt.

If you are interested in Lasik, I would highly suggest you avoid this MD and this practice. I have been suffering from Severe Dry Eyes, undercorrection and regression of vision since my surgery 8 months ago. Turned out I had more than one high risk factor for this life altering side effect. Even with me telling Dr. Holt and his staff about numerous eye problems before the surgery, I was still deemed an "excellent" candidate. Do NOT be swayed by the most aggressive advertising or flyers. Do not shop price and most of all, do not trust any Lasik surgeon to be completely straightforward and honest. Lasik is a commodity and they want to do more procedures to make money and will tell you all the good things while downplaying the bad. Do your homework, do not rely on referrals from friend, talk to more than one surgeon and most of all, remember that once you are a statistic, you are on your own. There is little you can do about a dishonest, careless Lasik surgeon.
