This Dr directly caused my mother to lose her leg. He performed a bypass that immediately failed & instead of following procedure & attempting a second time he instead put her on a blood thinner overnight stating it was to see if blood flow would start to the lower part of the leg. Instead of taking her back down and scanning to see exactly where it failed & how, he allowed her to lay there suffering & gamble on a blood thinner only to come into the room the next day to announce an amputation.

Dr Chauvin performed a quadruple bypass on me in 2012. He was very pleasant to visit with. Dr Chauvin operated and found a lung problem and fixed that as well. After surgery care was excellent! As far as I’m am concerned he is one of the best!

Did open heart on me 1/4/16. Gave me a new lease on life. So how in the world would I not have anything but good to say about him? He's a gifted surgeon and a compassionate man. His staff is the best
