As a military veteran, not the person to see, by far the worst visit I have ever had to a mercy hospital. Extremely rude and very judgmental.

My wife was admitted to Mercy ER in Rogers Arkansas for coVID by ambulance. When she left the house she was not of clear mind. Mercy does not allow visitors with coVID patients, so Dr Vo calls me to let know she is attending to my wife in the ER and tells how bad she is and thinking about trying some experimental drugs. I then ask to be her patient advocate and to make her medical decisions for her temporarily . Dr Vo then tries to tell me how sound of mind my wife is. We end up on a FaceTime call and of course my wife is out of it. I asked my wife if she knew what type of experimental medicines they wanted to try. She had no idea. So, Dr Vo agrees. I then her about the medicines and she says she doesn’t know much about them, that I should do a ‘google’ search She FaceTimes me 30 minutes later telling me the are having to put her on a vent. 20 minutes after that she calls again and tells me she has collapsed a lung. What is going on for in our health care systems?

Dr Vo helped save me after a stroke and I am very grateful for her helping my wife. Making sure we had everything needed in an emergency.

She saw my daughter at ACH who has CF. After caring for my daughter myself for nearly 18 years, I knew what was wrong with her. I tried talking with Dr. Vo. She was very arrogant, and condescending. She then proceeded to roll her eyes at me. I was very stressed. She is not specialized in CF, and she has a lot to learn when it comes to listening and be empathetic. Hope to never see her again.
