List of Joseph Jon Ivy's Reviews
I am extremely satisfied with the care I received from Dr. Ivy and his team. He answered all my questions and provided me with documentation for the next steps that should be taken to ensure my health.
The office staff is very pleasant and efficient… Dr. Ivy is very professional yet friendly he is very knowledgeable and takes the time to answer any questions he makes you feel very at ease
Dr Ivy and staff are excellent. He is quick and accurate. He has thought of everything. You leave with pre printed info and pictures. Everything is throughly explained.
After his office staff had to reschedule me multiple times because they kept scheduling my cancer surgery at outpatient surgery centers and womens clinics, after I repeatedly told them that my insurance wouldn't pay unless it was done at a full service hospital, Dr. Ivy dropped me as a patient. I HAVE CANCER. And now, no doctor because of the canceled appointments that his staff caused. Way to care for your cancer patients!!! There are no other oncology gynecologists near me. I was scheduled for surgery with no pre op appt to ask questions. I called his office and emailed them repeatedly to ask questions about my surgery. Nobody called me back. I wasn't sent any pre op instructions until I called the day before my surgery and they emailed them to me. This included a long list of pre surgery instructions that were supposed to be started a week before my surgery! Why weren't these given to me before the DAY BEFORE my surgery??? And now dropped as a patient with CANCER!
Dropped me as a patient with cancer because his staff kept scheduling my surgery at clinics and outpatient centers that I told them my insurance doesn't cover. I have to have surgery at a full service hospital with a cardiac unit. I explained this several times. They even canceled me the day before my surgery. After I had asked them to make sure that my insurance would approve the location! This ...
Awesome surgeon. Dr. Ivy performed uterine cancer surgery on my wife in February 2020. The results were very successful, and my wife is now cancer free. The robotic surgery resulted in a very rapid recovery, and we are extremely grateful to Dr. Ivy. Also, Northwest Hospital in Springdale provided exceptional and professional care, and we are so pleased with the quality of care provided. What an amazing staff !!!!
The absolute BEST in all areas of healthcare!
Dr. Ivy and his surgical team are the tops in my family's and my book!
Dr Ivy did my hysterectomy as my obgyn felt he was better qualified since I have a genetic predisposition to several types of cancer; ovarian being one of the worst. He got me in for surgery as early as possible, which I appreciated at the time. However, things quickly fell apart for me. He cut through my belly button, something the pre-op nurses said he didn't do. It was done. I last saw him for a few minutes the day after surgery before I left the hospital. For my post-op appt, I saw his PA Danielle. She's a piece of work. She has the personality and patience of a cat. She didn't care about the stabbing pain I had in my belly button that started a week after surgery. After being told by Dr Ivy's secretary, Rhonda, that Dr Ivy didn't feel my pain was due to my surgery because I didn't have cancer, I lost all hope in any help. Danielle finally ordered a CT scan that showed nothing. She told I must just react badly to having my muscles cut into. Fast forward 5-ish months. A recent scan also showed nothing. However, when a surgeon who actually cares about his patients did an exploratory surgery, he found an umbilical hernia. It's now been repaired. I can't say with 100% certainty Dr Ivy caused the hernia, but I didn't hurt before he did surgery and I've hurt and been nauseous every day since he did my surgery. Three days post op today and I feel better, no thanks to Dr Ivy and his "if you don't have cancer bye girl" attitude.
This doctors office was absolutely amazing the staff was great and super caring and doctor ivy is very straightforward which I really like I couldn’t ask for a better oncologist for this tough time highly recommend!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
