She was the hospitality who cared for our son during a trying hospital stay. Not only was she smart, caring and empathetic, she also did research trying to diagnose his condition. She worked with him to ease his pain, and I will be forever grateful to her. Not only would I highly recommend her, I would like to adopt her.

I received treatment from this doctor at the ER after being sent there from a pain management nurse after having high blood pressure and tachycardia at the office. After reviewing my symptoms and not being able to get to the cause of my issues on that day, this doctor said to my husband, "From hereon out your husband is going to put all of your medicine in a med minder and LOCK IT UP." I have never felt so humiliated just for having pain and I take care of an adult autistic son who is 36.

I received treatment from this doctor at the ER. I was rushed there because of high blood pressure and fast heart rate after going to my pain management doctor in Bentonville and they told me to go straight to the ER. I was treated by this doctor. She told me, after listening to my symptoms and discussing my case with other doctors at the hospital, that they couldn't make a diagnosis and then looked at my husband and said, "From hereon out your husband is going to put all of your medicine in a med minder and LOCK IT UP." I agreed because I was feeling horrible, but I was taken aback. Did they think I was a drug addict because I was taking prescribed opioids after having four back surgeries? Why was I talked to like this? My husband told me, well, after she said that you notice I didn't respond? He should have taken up for me, but he said he knew I was competent and didn't want to say anything because he was worried about my overall condition and why I was sent there in the first place. I have never forgotten this. That was a bad experience at NW Medical Center and that doctor represented that hospital, so I will never go back. Mercy Hospital and doctors have ALWAYS treated me with respect and never as someone who is incompetent and not able to take their own meds. I have taken care of a 36-year-old autistic son for years and I am his legal guardian. He needs med minders and help, but just because you are on pain meds and quiet, nobody should assume you are "off" because you come into the ER for a valid reason. I wouldn't give this doctor the time of day and will let everyone know how she talked to me and how I was treated at that hospital on that day and how scared I was and humiliated!

had a brief stay in hospital that was cut way too short because of a set of really unfortunate events but Dr. Kiatoukaysy not only cared about my physical health, she also took my mental health and quality of life into account (rare). really wish she had a private practice. she helped me deal with an extremely stressful situation, with my health, and did everything she could to remedy this and keep my overall health and sanity. absolutely in the top 3 influential doctors in my whole life.
