Messed up my young friends colon after multiple surgeries for the original issue. Now it's irreversible. Very disappointed. Feeling as if she used my friend as a ginnypig. Also, left a foreign particle in colon after one of the surgeries as well. Now they have to live with colon the way it is the rest of their life after the sloppy surgeries and can't go back in time. No words can ever express the heartache that I feel.

She was more worried about how we would pay than what would happen to my husband after he left the hospital. When she entered his hospital room to check his surgical wound she complained she had not slept for 24 hours. When she found out we were uninsured she discharged my husband with his wound still unhealed, I had to nurse him myself. At her office two weeks later for a check-up, her staff complained that we didn't have insurance, and tried to overcharge us. I wouldn't recommend this woman.

On call for emergency gallbladder surgery. Now having complications and requiring repeat procedures. No hospital bedside manner. Extreme lack of communication.

Horrible bedside manner. Post-op complications which got me referred to another much better doctor!!!

Brusque, rude, does not respond to politeness, only greeting was okay when she walked in, then proceeded to check her phone and sit at the computer terminal for 5 minutes, completely wordless, before launching into a perfunctory series of impatiently asked questions. Sarcastically asked What are you? Straight medi-cal? and then visibly perked up after finding out we have private insurance. Made us feel like an inconvenience, yet she also made us wait while she finished charting in the room.

Rude, dismissive, incapable of acknowledging fault, blamed nurses, calling them incompetent, because of her screw up. Installed portacath in the wrong side, terrible closure lead to bad scarring. Used wrong sutures after being told they wouldn't dissolve leading to an infection. She did leave her office to see me in the ER without asking, but then charged me a copay for an appointment.

The Doctor and her staff were very professional and comforting. I thank you all.

I had an Umbilical Hernia surgery in late 2012 The pre and post-opt visits were brief, but right to the point. The doctor was polite and courteous, and the staff was too. The surgery was performed at Feather River Hospital in Paradise, California. It was clean, friendly, and I was updated and questioned thoroughly right up to the surgery making sure they had the right patient and correct diagnosis.....I was very impressed. Itâ??s been just over a year now since the surgery and Iâ??m 100% pain free!! Furthermore, the incisions (stitches) around my navel can no longer be seen......that was a very pleasant surprise!!! Overall, I would highly recommend Dr. McLarty

She did a great job on my surgery but she didn't care when i came in months later with pain. She just sent me away without nothing.
