You are better off seeing any other Mercy Dr instead of Dr steed. He does not care about his patients, he does not explain anything to you. He acts like you went to medical school and should know what questions to ask. He insults you and your intelligence. He is uncomfortable around overweight people and makes you feel bad like you should know better than being fat. He is extremely arrogant too. He genuinely doesn't try to help. I had to find my own help and recommendations.

Dr. Steed is the most wonderful, caring, and gentle doctor I've ever known. He really took the time to listen and give me wonderful advice through my pregnancy! I would have another baby just so he could be our doctor

My experience with Dr. Steed was several years ago and this review is more or less to thank him for being part of a team that changed my life. Dr. Steed was doing a rotation in an ER, (to keep his skills fresh), when I brought my husband in for complications from a routine surgery 10 days prior. At that time we had been in contact with the original surgeon almost daily and had seen him in the same ER the week prior. But that day as soon as Dr. Steed looked at my husband he knew something was wrong. He immediately ran tests to confirm what he feared. My husband suffered from a nicked bowel during the surgery and was now septic. Quick decisions were made and we transferred to another hospital where emergency surgery could be performed but the outlook wasn t promising. God blessed through that surgeon and Dr. Steed. They saved my husband s life. When I chose the hospital to have him transferred to I had no idea it was the hospital where he delivered babies. He checked on us daily and made sure that I was taken care of as well. The recovery road was a long one but today we enjoy life with our 4 adult children. He has walked both daughters down the aisle, attended graduations, baseball games, music concerts, and vacations. And every year as that anniversary rolls around I am reminded. Our lives could have been so very different without Dr. Steed s knowledge, quick thinking, and compassion, much the opposite of the doctor who put us in that situation. I m thankful.

Originally I liked Doctor steed, but over time I realized he was forgetful. He never remembered why I was in certain medication or what I had going on chronically. He also ignored my symptoms and was dismissive of my questions.

Dr.steed delivered my last baby in 2013 no doctor would see me had just moved to Arkansas from California and he was the only doctor who said yes almost 8 months pregnant and a csection to schedule. He was the best through it, he had to deliver sooner than expected and made the process so easy. I moved back to California but I will always be grateful to his services as great doctor.

I had a lot of unexplained symptoms for awhile. Dr. Steed did the bare minimum blood work. Said there was nothing wrong with me. The last time I saw him, he laughed and said “you have a lot of symptoms I don’t know what to tell you.” It turns out I have an autoimmune disease. I’m glad I went elsewhere. I hope it’s a lesson for him to take his patents seriously.

Dr. Steed is an excellent doctor! I've had 5 different doctors during pregnancies and he has been my absolute favorite. He's kind, understanding, great sense of humor, very professional, and most important, he's extremely good at his job!

He was incredibly patient with my severely autistic son and involved him in the conversation, when other healthcare providers often only address me. He was thorough but did not recommend unnecessary tests. Very happy and would be glad to see him again.

He was my doctor while he was still in his residency, and I had the best experience as a new and single mother. He was very informative, he listened, and guided me through, not to meantion he included my mother and father during the birth (I was okay with it) I wish he was in texas, I would have him as my doc again for my 3rd baby.
