He performed a very simple surgery on my mother. He removed a lipoma from her neck. He performed the surgery at Desert Springs Hospital. My mom was put under, he preformed the surgery and they had her out of the hospital in less then3 hours. They even tried to send her home without any type of pain medicine because Dr. Johnson had filled out the perscrition wrong and where it said date he put my mothers birthdate. Easy going, approachable, explains everything thoroughly. Did a fantastic job and saved my life! I have worked in the health care field for over 20 years in another state and someone like Dr. Johnson is a rare find.

I came into the ER with severe abdominal pain due to a ruptured colon. Within a few hours Dr Johnson performed surgery to remove the damaged portion of my colon. He checked on me twice a day while I was in hospital and answered every question. Very pleased with my life saving results.

Procedures: Gallbladder removal (Surgery), internal bile duct stint (sp?) for drainage (ERCP). I have never had any surgeries before so I did not know what to expect or how I would be treated. I have been through many PCP's over the years and I have never met a doctor that made me feel more cared for and was intensely concerned that I was taken care of. I asked many questions about everything concerned and each and every question and concern I had was answered to my satisfaction.

I'm really sorry for the other reviewer's loss but I have to say Dr Johnson performed my recent surgery and was great. Entire staff was kind, explained things well, professional, tried to keep procedure as minimal as possible, great follow up. I know a surgical nurse (30+yrs experience) who works with many different surgeons and she highly recommended Dr Johnson to me - I'm glad she did!

My husband died as a result of a hurried surgery (because more were scheduled after his)and inadequate follow-up.

My husband died as a result of an incompletely done and rushed surgery. Also, the hospital where the surgery was performed did not have the facilities to help my husband after he was in trouble. The doctor was aware of that and should have informed us. The doctor also did not follow up with him after he was in trouble.
