I am not exaggerating, Dr. Youmans changed my families life. Without going into too much personal detail, my wife had medical problems for years that doctors could not figure out. Dr. Youmans listened to us asked great questions. He investigated based on our suggestions. This meant that my wife got the treatment that she needed before it was too late. Thank you for caring, and the hard work you do. I will recommend you to anyone!
Cares about his patients, goes the extra mile to make sure they get the meds their insurance covers, and is a great person that truly wants his patients to get better.
👍👍👍👍He is very friendly and honest. He will listen to you and help figure out the best plan and financial option. The only real complaint is what most Doctors suffer from, they are rushed. If you get him on a slower day, which is very rare, you will feel like you have enough time with him. If the day is full or over scheduled, which is 99.9% of most of the days at this medical center, you may walk away feeling you waited for 45 minutes and saw him for 2 minutes. Sadly, this is common for almost all Doctors these days😞.
I've been going to Dr Youmans for several years. I am the type that only sees a doctor when I feel like I'm dying or just absolutely cannot tolerate the pain any longer. He doesn't judge me for this (or if he does he sure doesn't let it come accross). He does encourage me to get the check-ups that are recommended. He actually listens to you. He does not cram medicine down your throat or try to push narcotics. The front office staff can sometimes be rude, but he and his nurses are very kind, genuine, and unassuming. My husband has a completely different personality and view of doctors than I and goes on a regular basis. After visiting Dr Youmans when he couldn't get into his doctor, he gladly switched making Dr Youmans his primary doctor. I am about natural healing and my husband trust pharmacy meds, Dr Youmans treats us both with respect and seems to understand the personalities and the way to treat both of us based on our beliefs and personalities.
I went in for tests and waited for a call with results. I requested a call and was told to look online.
Dr. Youmans always treated my daughter and showed interest and kindness. he is great
When you first walk in the windows to the receptionists are always closed so you have to wait and feel uncomfortable while they are back there staring at you. Such an unwelcoming feeling.
I visited Dr. Youman's office yesterday, took off work to do so, and drove an hour just to be there. I have been experiencing severe depression and anxiety, and have been sleeping 15+ hours a night. After telling all this to the doctor, he didn't seem concerned at all. Maybe due to the fact that I have medicaid. He ordered a blood test, but didn't do anything else at all. I have never seen a less sympathetic doctor. I wouldn't recommend this doctor to my worst enemy.
He has been my PCP for 3 years now and I have found him to be very easy to talk to - he gets me. My only complaint is that he is so busy that he can only see patients for about 5 minutes before heading off to the next one. Other than that, he's a great family care physician that I have lots of confidence in.
The staff here is awful. Very rude and act irritated they have to actually do what they are getting paid to do. Dr is okay, but pushes narcotic pain pills for everything. Even gave my 10 Year old daughter them!! Needless to say, she did not take them.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
