Sorriest doctor I ve ever seen gf needs to switch back to her original medicine but this doctor wants her to take this medicine that makes her worse and he don t even care

I called twice on Monday July 6 for an appointment. Both times I waited 15 plus minutes in que without speaking with anyone. Ridiculous. Looks like I will go to someone else.

Great Doctor and easy to talk to. I would recommend Dr Schemel to anyone.

I have good recommendations

Below average in my opinion. I didn't find him to be overly attentive or engaged. He checked me and started typing his notes. He stopped as he was typing and had to ask me again what side he was checking. In addition, he failed to call in 33.33% of the medicine. He wants to see me again in two weeks. I will not be paying for another appointment. He did nothing to earn my trust or to ensure me that I was in caring capable hands. I will continue to look for a PCP.

This is a follow-up to my first review. I received a phone call from Dr. Schemel this morning, regarding the horrible experience at his office earlier this week. He was genuinely polite and asked for an account of the appointment that should have been. I gave him a description, explaining that in no way, was I a no-show - that his office had not shared with me ahead of time that he'd moved, which was why I was late. He heartily apologized and promised that he'd talk to the staff and find out where the breakdown in communications occurred. I very much appreciated his phone call, as well as his sincere demeanor during the call and his promise to correct the situation. Thank you, Dr. Schemel.

I have been seeing Dr. Schemel for a little over 4 years. I am amazed at his dedication toreaching optimal health. I had been in an abusive relationship with my alcoholic husband for 10 year and it took a toll on me. Having relocated to Springdale, i was very lucky to have chosen him to begin my journey back to health.Didn't take him a year to get my blood pressure under control. I had been struggling with high numbers for a long time. I had been having lots of trouble keeping diabetes under control also. My last visit with him 10/5/18, my A1C was down to 5.7. I am no longer considered diabetic! I give him so much credit for helping me restore my health.

Very rude. Yelled at my mother because she didn't want a flu shot. Even told her he wouldn't be able to see her again due to the fact that she smokes and she didn't want a flu shot.

Dr. Schemel is a fabulous doctor! I would highly recommend him.

I should have read the reviews before making an appointment. My experience was very poor. I think Dr Shement became a doctor for his ego and patients and doing what is right is secondary. I wouldn't recommend.
