List of Robert R. Baker's Reviews
The nicest people from the front desk to the exam room or the lab department. A full service doctor office. There's a complete lab, xray department, and a Medicare nurse for your annual Medicare assessment. They get to know you and they really care about your health. I rarely wait for more than 10 -15 minutes from coming in the front door until I'm in an examination room. Everyone is caring, professional, compassionate and helpful. Extremely clean and sanitary in all areas. (Masks are required at this time) separate seating area for sick and returning type patients. They follow the covid guidelines. I feel like I'm visiting family and friends when I go there. Dr. Baker is a wonderful doctor and person. He cares about your health and will explain anything you don't understand. Everyone is well trained in their jobs and they honestly seem to care about you. I'd give them 6 stars if I could!!
Since I have been grown I have not found such a caring Dr. More like a person trying to help. Most Dr's I have seen either look at me and decide I " look" healthy. One I went saw 3 times came in EVERY time asked me what my problem was. I would explain every time. Then w/out looking at computer or my chart say " pay up front and come back next month". That's it. Thank GOD for Dr. Baker. 1st time I saw him he guaranteed " if he couldn't help he'd find someone who could.". More than 5 years later I can say I found not just a dr., but a Saint. He does every thing to help. As far as staff, as much as I miss nurse Lori, I can say everyone from Dr. And nurse on down are nothing but helpful with my best interest in mind. Once again THAnK OUR FATHER for GREAT MEN like DR. ROBERT R. BAKER
This place is a complete joke. The front desk people are beyond rude and the dr doesn’t care and is super hateful.
My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer last month and had asked if Dr. Baker could fill out a physician form for him showing he has cancer. My dad emailed the physician form on 5/1/19 The form was only 1 page and needed the doctor's name and signature and a check mark next to the box next to cancer. He was told that once the form was completed he will receive a call to go pick up the form. My dad emailed them on 5/6/19, 5/15/19, and 5/29/19 to follow up and he would get the same response back from Tanya that the doctor is aware of the paperwork but hasn't completed it yet and that they will call once it's completed. My dad is very ill and needs the physician form so that he can fill out for the medical card online and I feel that Dr. Baker doesn't really care if my dad gets this form or not. My dad's wife also went in the office several weeks ago with the actual form and was told by the lady at the front desk that she will have it filled out. My aunt also dropped by and the front desk lady told her that he has 5 forms in his office and she wasn't sure why he hasn't filled it out yet. It has been almost a whole month now and still haven't heard back from anyone. It's sad that some doctors are only about money and if they don't get anything from you, they don't want to do anything to help you out especially when it comes to a dying patient. The form only takes 1 min of Dr. Baker's time to fill out but he chooses to put it aside.
Horrible doctor!! Needs to retire!!! When he ignores low blood test results and doesnt ecen care
Don't go to this Doctor. He proscribed my husband a stomach pill and it came up as meth and it made him deadly ill and The Doctor accused my husband of doing meth when he stopped taking the stomach pill it showed that Doctor baker was a lair. Doctor Baker does not keep up with your health. All he does is proscrib medication and don't do no check ups of what really is going on. When you go to ask the Doctor of how and when to take your medication he told my husband I have no clue ask your pharmacist. And when I told him what was going on with my husband Doctor Baker laughed and said that we was full if ourselves and now my husband is up in the hospital after 5 heartatacks due to the Doctor don't give a dam.
My wife scheduled an appointment with Dr Baker 2 months in advance. He came in and did not introduce himself and basically said nothing while she described somethings that are going on with her. Again he said nothing. He was rude as he had to repeat the one thing he did say to which I had to correct him in the first place. He seemed discriminatory, unprofessional, and closed minded. He is not a good listener and COMPLETELY wasted our time and kindness in his clinic. I will not recommend this clinic to anyone. As a matter of fact one of the very few things he did care to mention was the fact that in a year he will not be accepting new patients.
Numerous bad experiences, but I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt. I called on a Monday morning to see Dr. Baker, my primary care doctor, for a reoccurring back problem due to a prior injury. I left a message with the receptionist, called again at 3pm and left voicemail, and finally showed up in his office in tears Tuesday morning, having not heard back from them. I noticed a "Nurse on call" sign in their entry, but I was told the nurse was out this week so I should go to a walk-in. I never received copies of my lab work so I called the receptionist who kindly explained what all my lab results meant (is she qualified to do that?) My pharmacy called to get my prescriptions refilled (NON-narcotic, anti-inflammatory for bulging discs) and was told Dr. Baker would not refill them because he's not my primary care doctor. Today when I arrived I waited 15 minutes to check in while the receptionist (the only peron at the front desk) was on the phone, with other lines ringing, and another lady waiting behind me, who ironically began complaining to me about the issue. I thought maybe the back office (Dr. Baker, specifically) didn't know what was going on out front, so I decided that rather than just give up and find a new doctor I'd explain to Dr. Baker what I had experienced. He took offense, told me there's only so much they can be expected to do and that I am the only one who has experienced this problem (or maybe the others just left without speaking up to avoid this reaction?!) He hastily refilled my prescriptions without any further conversation and did not even address the medical complaint for which I originally made the appointment.
My Doctor ,Baker. Is amazing.
Doctor did not want to listen to me told me what i was saying was going in one ear and out the other. Terrible bed side manners didn't seem to care if i lived or died. Will be looking for new doctor asap. I ask him about a diet plan to lose weight nothing was said or offered. He wanted to take me of medicine that controls my heart rate i reminded him that this medicine control's my heart rate and he changed his mind.He seemed like he just wanted me to shut up and get me out as soon as possible. Terrible horrible. He lost me as a patient maybe it is time he retires

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
