I had the misfortune to be attended to by this individual at St Vincent's in Hot Springs. I informed him that I had an arrhythmia problem and before being treated for a rather nasty dog bite, requested the smallest lightest dose of anti-anxiety medication they had to prevent a runaway heartbeat from the stress of the procedure...I do not do medical procedures well, and told him so. He didn't listen to a thing I said, but informed me that they didn't knock people out for that... I informed him again, that was not what I was requesting...We went round and round, and I guess he went and checked the records and found out I was not drug seeking, came back and agreed to provide the medication... Then he decided to start with out it and had his nurses hold me down so he could get started... In WHAT universe does a physician order an elderly lady with heart issues held down like that... I immediately began to shake violently and could not breathe from the stress, so the let me up, and went and got the anti anxiety medication... left me there for several hours then got back and finished... i spent several days totally incapacitated from the stress, and it was almost two weeks before I could resume any semblance of work... NEVER did they check my heart to see if I had had a heart attack over this... nor did ANY of them even ask how I was feeling... Long story short, what should have taken 45 min, and been done with turned into a long and in my humble opinion, dangerous mess, all because he wouldn't listen and clearly prefers force to kindness...Needless to say, I do NOT recommend this "doctor"
