Anthony Desalvo's Online Review Report Card

Called to get a refill on my birth control and the lady was very rude and disrespectful. She said I already had 11 refills sent to the pharmacy. I mentioned that I recently moved and I asked what pharmacy they had on file and she was not excited to get me that info. Sad. Been coming here for years and years! Thank goodness the Dr. and nurse practictioner are NICE!!!

Dr Desalvo is an amazing Dr..I always hated going to the OB/GYN but I felt comfortable with him and all his staff. I would highly recommend him

I've been seeing Dr. Desalvo since I was 17 years old. I am now almost 36 years old and I moved out of state to care for a loved one for a couple years. I am now back in the area and just called to see if I can continue with Dr. Desalvo. He has delivered 3 of my children and I absolutely LOVE him as a doctor. I have seen about 3 different OBGYN's in my life and he is absolutely the best, hands down. I was just told that they will not take me back as a patient and I had to find a new doctor because I transferred my records. What does that matter!?! I guess my advice is if you see this doctor, dont move and expect to be able to be seen by him again!

I had scans done for something else and it found several cysts on my left ovaries so i scheduled an appointment. I had to wait 3 months to get in i was like ok busy doctor must mean something. 1st appointment was scheduled for sep 3rd the last thing that happened was his staff failed to call me to let me know he was in emergancy c-section. I wasted money on cab fair to get there and home just to have to reschedule the appointment. So they made new appointment for september 23rd and i went in. He was more interested in getting pap/pelvic exam then listening to me and answering anything. He dismissed the results from my scans as well as refused to listen to me. I was trying to explain to him what else was going on and my history with cysts. I was also was trying to explain to him why else i chose to see him and he dismissed me and said ill call in meds if needed from pap test. So i saw another obgyn and not only did she listen she scheduled more testing to find out how the cysts were going and suggested 2 types of surgerys. I have been scheduled for december for the outpatient one first off and if things are not fixed by this we will be going for a hysterectomy. She also found a 7 inch fibroid cyst and he would have found it as well if he would have actually listened to me and did proper testing to see what was going on instead of dismissing me. Look this isnt my first obgyn it isnt new to me. I am a mother of four children who were very high risk pregnancies. I also had to have a cyst removed at the time of my last c-section. So to be dismissed by him not only rubbed me the wrong way it made me very angry. I have family history of not only fibroids but also cancer. He not only did not ask about my family history he didnt listen to my history. I will not be recommending him to anyone i know i wont be seeing this doctor ever again. I will continue to see the one im at right now and know that she will be thorough with the exams and listen to my symptoms and concerns. I will be having surgery on december 3rd all that could have been done sooner if he had just listened to me.

I am new to seeing dr.desalvo... so far I'm very impressed! Great doctor

Dr. Desalvo and staff are the epitome of Bedside manner, compassion and tender- loving. He delivered both of my children i remember walking into his office almost 13 years ago young first time mother scared, afraid and alone these people along with Dr. Desalvo took me under their wings loved on me and helped me prepare and birth my baby he was there every step of the way ensuring me i would be great mother. they always offered words of encouragement, prayer and just down right love. it saddens me that i moved away out of state and cant find another Doctor with the same mannerism,character and demeanor as he. my fave doctor ever. when Doctors go to school graduate get degree and licence to practice often after years and thousands of patients later they lose the passion and drive they had upon entering school this Doctor never did and for that i am grateful.

Dr.delsavo is amazing good bedside manner very thorough..he delivered my daughter 19 years ago and my daughter now sees him for pregnancy..the ultrasound sound tack is very polite n explains everything to you in detail.he has changed his practice a little bit..je does have another dr working with him that sees the patients till their late second trimester n they see him.if we have questions he will see us personally and answer them.you can also email him through their patient portal program as well..
