I went in there for chest pains. Everyone was very polite and helpful. The wait time was not long.

My Dad has been sitting in the ER for hours getting shocked by his internal defibrillator MULTIPLE TIMES and the cardiologistelectrophysiologist wont come in and do his procedure until 12p tomorrow which is over 14 hours from now. They arent changing his meds or doing anything other than let him lay in an ER bed. I understand they are busy because of covid but jeeze do something.  If he doesnt make it because they dragged their feet his death will be on their hands.

People in the waiting room very nice. Once I got back to a room that changed. I suffer from chronic migraines so that’s why I went. Once they asked if I had been vaccinated I said no and everyone I talked to after that was very rude. Before I was discharged they gave me a shot for nausea and vomiting which I had neither. Didn’t treat my migraine. Diagnosed me with an upper respiratory infection but didn’t treat that either. I rather go to Memphis or Jonesboro next time

I didn’t want to even give this hospital a star at all. First off we’re not from west Memphis we’re from Nebraska and my son’s asthma started acting up. He has an inhaler but at this point he was having an asthma attack when we arrived there was two people in front of us I figured because he was wheezing and chest was puffing in and out indicating he was in asthma attack mode they would prioritize and get him back asap but nope. We sat there for over an hour and nobody checked on us or got us back. It had got to the point we had to leave and drive to south haven to an urgent care 30 minutes away because this hospital could care less. He clearly had to drop to the floor and pass out before we would get some assistance there.

Gina the charge nurse has about as much business working with the public as a rat with rabies. Would probably get better care. Her concern is that EVERYONE needed to know she was the charge nurse. She was even trying to tell us that she knew more and had more seniority than the doctors. She wasnt even working. Every time I saw her she was getting off on trying to boss people around.Hey Gina how about you do your job and quit trying to take Gods place. Lady I can promise you you about as intelligent and hard working as that New York rat with rabies. This was the most horrible experience of any hospital that I have ever had to deal with. Ignorance at its finest. I will be calling Baptist and the mayor.

The hospital is joke .staff are rude and act like you are an inconvenience to their time. The dr was extremely unprofessional. If youre on fire. Run to the closest vet clinic. Should be stars

Came in with my mother who is in her 60s. She had symptoms of covid and was left in a hallway in the waiting area. Meanwhile children with sprains from sports injuries were being treated and released before her. When asked how long before they started her tests I was told well we are short staffed and I do not know how long it will be.

My ladys 12 month old started havinlg a seizure around 445 today so with us staying 5 minutes away from Baptist I rushed her there. They walked into the emergency room at 452. Within 45 minutes all they did was checked her temp. She had a fever. This facility was not busy at all. The nurse told her she would get a room when one was cleaned. Another nurse that put the tag on said Ooh I dont want her touching me so mom ill put it on you So unprofessiona lAt 545 I told her to come on out well fight this traffic to get her to Le bonheur where I know she will be a priority
