List of Curtis Miller's Reviews
I need a knee replacement and have been seeing Dr Miller for almost a year. I went to schedule the surgery today and was told he is retiring and will not do surgeries after September. I got a gel shot and you can't have surgery for 90 days. I didn't know either of these things. Now I'm back to square One.. He should be telling people, he isn't so I am.
First visit and I had absolutely no issues. No long wait time, no long wait after being taken to exam room and Dr Miller explain my knee pain and answered all of my question. So far, so good. With a cortisone shot and exercising, my knee has no issues as a month later.
Respect
Dr. Miller, was explaining the problem very well to me, he was very patient and professional.
Had an initial visit with x-ray and revealed arthritis. Decided to get mri and took a few phone calls, unanswered, before it was ordered. After the mri awaited results and no one called. After 3 calls had to make another appointment (paid $50) for the results and he had the audacity to ask if I had the results when I was specifically there for that! He then repeated the exact verbiage he told me in the first visit and then abruptly got up and left the room. He did not offer any solutions for my current issue. I asked about medications and he didn’t have any opinion on any of them. Did not offer any type of therapy other than when it was bad enough “come in for a shot”. Yes, he offered a shot for the arthritis but only when it was bad enough. In the meantime, what do I do? Thanks but no thanks. Poor communication and lack of continuum of care from a specialist. Terrible!!
Doctor was great initial visit, no follow up what so ever afterwards with no return calls after 6 attempts over 6 weeks. Very poor back office
I just want to start with working in any customer service job, we don't get to pick and choose whom we help. Most of our jobs don't involve human lives. My father in law has been back and forth with this doctor and his lack of anything is so concerning. He can't walk at all and for 8 months they dragged him through this torture. He was on workman's comp and of course the doctor wanted nothing to do with him. He asked me one time to sit on a video appt, guy was a complete A-hole...witnessed it myself. Just got on ACHHS and what do you know?! Doctor said it was so bad and should of been handled months ago. I hate taking time to make reviews but here we are. Any doctor that cares more about getting paid than helping someone, is not a doctor to me. My father in law, has been walking on crutches over a year cause of money. Take this information as you will but if you need someone with human compassion, go anywhere else!
Dr. Miller is an outstanding surgeon. I had Rt Hip replacement surgery 9 months ago and he is the ONLY Surgeon I would have do it. He explains, listens and gives you options and processes. He is VERY thorough in wanting all other medical concerns addressed and those doctors signed off before surgery. In my case and I'm sure many others, found something I would never have known I had except by having tests and seeing those doctors first. He and his team are amazing! He has an outstanding team who work with him in surgery and after. He took my situation on and give me back my life! He cares about you as a person too. You still have to do all the work and not take short cuts. I like slow and steady no matter how long it takes to move forward and not have set backs. I listened and now experiencing the benefits. I'm so grateful to Dr. Miller, I'd give him 6 stars.
He was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me. Professional and friendly.
Dr. Miller was very helpful. He presented everything to me so that I could make an educated choice. I never felt pressured to do anything in particular and his presentation was very educational.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
