List of Joshua Jean Md's Reviews
Dr. Jean is the best Dr. I’ve ever had. He explains things in a comforting way. And he always gives me time to ask him questions. I am so grateful he is my Dr.
Very odd guy... Does not explain anything to you, and leaves you with more questions than answers. When you ask a question, he rambles on about something that makes no sense, leaving you confused and unsure of what the heck you just experienced.
I set my mom up with him for a visit after she had been sick for the last few months. It was the first time she had been to a doctor in years and was visibly ill. On her first visit, he took one look at her, discriminated against her, and sent her home. He didn't take a single test. I called to ask why he didn't take labs and had his assistant tell my, "if she wanted labs, she should have asked for them. If she wants labs, she'll have to make an appointment." After weeks, I was able to file a complaint and they did a peer review where they had another doctor look at her. This doctor in Sierra Vista was amazing and took labs. It turns out my mom had diabetes and an infection. He didn't run a single lab and she had diabetes and an infection. His website claims to want to help all people, but something in him decided my mom wasn't worth it.

Excellent Spent a lot of time talking to me. Got my booster shot. I thought he was great and I was very pleased.
Dr. Jean didn't take the time to find out anything about my medical history during my first appointment with him. He told me that it wouldn't make a difference if I had Covid since I work from home. I informed him that it absolutely would make a difference for me considering I have a rare heart condition. Not to mention, he was already informed that I have two children in public school where there was already potential exposure to covid. I will definitely be finding a different doctor.
He is understanding, patient and respectful. It's a shame that he left the Banner Network and is no longer a resident. I would go to him until the end of my life if I could.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
