This person that took care of me when I had my 1st attack of what I was told I had CHF by Dr Spooner. When it came time make decision about D-fib he explained how the seat-belt works the decision was easy to make, now I have the ICD it has saved my life 3 times and I have a lot of respect for this man.

I've always liked Dr. Spooner and believe he's very thorough. The only problem I had with my most recent visit is that other than Dr. Spooner and myself, I saw no one wearing masks. I understand that mask recommendations have changed however, with this being a medical facility, many of the patients are older, and Covid is still alive and well, I would have felt most comfortable if all of the staff had been in masks. Thank you.

This was my first Cardiologist visit in AZ. I haven't seen a doctor for about 10 years. Dr Spooner actually listened to my comments and complaints. He thoroughly explained why he chose the testing exams he ordered and made sure my questions were answered. The office staff were very pleasant, educated and professional. Thank you for taking out the stressfulness of going to the doctor.

Dr. Spooner has been my cardiologist for a number of years. He patiently listens to my complaints and always finds the best treatment to address my problems. He is a thorough professional with decades of experience in the field of cardiology. I highly recommend him and encourage potential patients not to be influenced by the occasional disgruntled patient.

Wow, reading the first review, it's hard to believe we visited the same person. My husband and I found him to be laid out a plan of care, was patient, and asked if we had any additional questions. We both came out of the office thinking that went very well.

If I could give this doctor, negative stars I would. UNPROFESSIONAL. CONDESCENDING. RUDE. Over talks you. Doesn’t listen to how you are feeling, doesn’t even bother to ASK! comes in, sits with an attitude, reads out test results and sends you on your way. Even in tears begging him to help or refer or help with my pain, he sat, stoic, and insulting my intelligence by answering with short, nasty tone, as if I were wasting his time with my concerns about my own health. I will NEVER go back, and will seek another cardiologist as this one needs to retire because he has lost his patience, and empathy.

Dr. Spooner is an attentive listener and ordered very thorough testing for my symptoms. Staff was courteous, efficient, and the Team worked well together. I am in good hands.
