16 groups for every phase up, really? Doctors appt every 3 months. Meeting with councilor 2 times a month for 30 mins. I don’t agree with required groups especially that many. Too much. Stuck to the clinic. Makes recovery even harder for people trying to rebuild their lives and get jobs. Methadone is the treatment, not groups. Also, miss 3 days and they will half your dose. What kind of treatment is that? Even SAMHSA says to never do that. Would you take away half of someone’s chemotherapy for missing a day? Most of the people here are great but the leadership making these rules is awful.

I'm very grateful for the fact that there are resources out there such as ORS (Southwest Behavior Health Center). Their staff is well put together by people that really understand the nature of addiction &/or pain management. I also really like my councilor (William), he goes above & beyond his call of duty!! They provide a great service for the small community, great staff and always helpful to those in need, not only for substance abuse. Helped me get furniture when I first moved out here and suddenly had 3 grandchildren, and no furniture. Great people.
