List of Melissa Ann Byram's Reviews
Horrible experience! She is rude and demeaning. She made me feel judged. Called me a liar to my face. She tried to push 6 vaccines on my son (all at once) that he had already had! She wouldnt believe me and told me the paper shows I have negligected care for my child sense he was a newborn. She pulled the shots anyway and then blamed it all on me and said they are expensive and he needs them. She wanted to push them so she wouldnt loose out on money. She tells at her staff and we sat there for almost 3 hours. Horrible, horrible, horrible. She doesn't care about you and what's best for you child. She made me cry.
Byram is extremely arrogant and likes to maintain a posture that she knows way more on how to raise your child than you do. She in fact is only trying to find a way to make herself feel powerful. Being taught how to prescribe pharmaceuticals without questioning them at all, Dr. Byram, only makes you a shill for one of the most lucrative and harmful industries in the world. You know nothing about health. Get off your high horse and educate yourself.
She is very rude. And don't know how to communicate, I won't take my kids to her again.and I can't trust her I believe she is too old to be in practice.
Byran don't know anything please don't take your kids to her. She dont care.
My baby of 8 months old was diagnosis by the ER with pneumonia and I was told to follow up. I was forced to see the Byram the following day. She told my husband at the appointment that the ER doctor was wrong and that my child had allergies. She told us to stop all breathing treatments and other care the ER doctor advised. Less than one week later we were back in the ER, with a 103 Fever that would not break after 14 hours. The next day I was again forced to see her. She not only was rude and condescending, she told me that I was misusing the ER and that my child having three days of fever was no big deal. I was to stop all medical treatment that the Er gave me, because my child was fine. I was just being "Dr. Mom" and did not know what real medical issues where. Oh, and she gave me handouts, which were not helpful at all. Don't use her, I did not follow her advise and continued treatment per the ER, and my baby did get better. Her advise is going to hurt someone.
Never had a more condescending or rude medical interaction in all my life. As a healthcare professional, I am embarrassed to work in the same career field.
Was exceedingly rude, interrupted me constantly, didn't listen to a word I said and refused to do a referral for physical therapy for my daughter . Her bedside manner leaves a lot left to be desired. And loud. SO LOUD.
Constantly interrupts and will talk over you. Doesn't care what you need to say. Gives bad advice that makes you end up worse off than you already were. Super rude and horrible bedside manner. Seeing her is a waste of money and time.
Wasn’t impressed with her at all wasn’t even listening to my child’s needs with her sickness. Didn’t even examine my daughter just handed me some handouts of possibly illness and was out the door. I would have been better off taking her to urgent care! Not recommended!
I think Dr. Byram is a great pediatrician. I have taken my 4 children to her this summer for well child visits. She is very thorough. She spent a lot of time talking to my kids and my husband and I. She is very knowledgable. 2 of my kids were in need of specialized orthopedic care. She has been the only doctor I have ever taken them to (they are 11 and 8) that was actually concerned about this issue. Great doctor. I would recommend.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
