Pavel Petkov Md's Online Review Report Card

On 3/14/2021 I was brought to Banner casa grande after being in labor for 23 hours at home and a delay in progress. My midwife was refused entry by hospital staff. Dr.Petkov gave me a less than 1 minute exam before deciding to perform and uneeded c-section on me. My baby was in the occiput posterior position which is a variation of a normal delivery. if dr.petkov cared about a safe delivery he would’ve given me an epidural as i requested. my child and me are suffering long term effects from his negligence. I have major adominal pain due to my hastily done c-section. My son has experienced sensory issues and minor speech delays I believe were caused by his traumatic c section birth. Dr.Petkov is a danger to all pregnant women in the Casa Grande area.I should have never been a csection patient due to dr.petkov’s lack of medical training and knowledge when it comes to childbirth.

This guy is rude as heck, it’s not hard to see he thinks he’s better then you. I’m pregnant and instead of listening to my medical concerns that I brought to his attention during an appt, he dismissed me as if what I was asking was stupid. He wasn’t sensitive to my needs, & did not try to be compassionate to my feelings. When I unfortunately had to see him in the hospital for my scheduled procedure he made fun of me. Yes he actually poked fun at what I asked him from an appt I had months ago and then started arguing with me about what I told him happened to me during my first birth (which he wasn’t there and doesn’t know I nearly died). He kept trying to speak over me, and didn’t believe me nor did he even try to listen to me regarding what had happened when I delivered my first child. Instead, he gave me snarky remarks and sarcastically told me that I was wrong about what had happened just because he read a couple charts that doctors who were trying to save their butts from a malpractice suit wrote. A real doctor wouldn’t try and make their patients feel inferior. He also made a jab at me regarding one of my medical conditions inferring I was negligent in my treatment of it. He was going to examine me but I told the nurse I did not feel comfortable with him AT ALL and immediately requested he leave from my room. Something is seriously wrong with this man. I wouldn’t ever advise anyone to have this guy as their doctor.

Dr.Petkov falsely diagnosed me with CPD and performed an emergency CSection without my informed consent. He put me and my child through invasive surgery because he rushed so quickly to perform a csection probably to make that extra money right. I hope my child never has any reprocussions from what he did to us. Dr. Petkov should not be allowed to perform medicine if he doesn’t want to allow women to have safe deliveries. Sorry if natural child birth doesn’t put as many 0’s on your salary, me and my son deserved better.

Dr. Petkov is my daughter's obgyn. During her pregnancy he was responsive to her needs. He performed her c-section and I witnessed how he took great care of her and my granddaughter. After delivery Dr Petkov continued to provide exceptional care

Such an amazing doctor. Explains everything with detail and takes great care of his patients. Very grateful he delivered my baby and he has such a great attitude. I definitely would recommend him for anyone.

This was this was my first time having an appointment with him. But I have to say already so far he has been an amazing doctor. He listened to my concerns and my questions and answered every single one of them in detail so that I could understand what was going on. He took what I had to say and put it into action. I would definitely recommend him to others. And I'm glad I found him since I have tried elsewhere and was not satisfied.

I rate 5 stars because Dr Petkov delivers what he promises. He is as strongly biased as any poorly trained medical professional. Thus, I will never recommend him to anyone because the people that I associate with do not blindly follow one statistic (mean, median) while ignoring the others (SD, variance). Worse, ignoring variance as he does stops him from considering the patient's data and status, thus fitting his patients to his belief system of means and damaging the patient during journey.

Dr. Petkov is the best OB doctor at the Adelante Mesa

I would highly recomend going to Dr. Pavel Petkov!! He is very thorough when explaining things to your health. Dr. Petkov is very kind and professional at the same time. He also makes me feel comfortable when being seen during my annual exam. He is very helpful and listens to every and any question you might have, and then responds with a thorough explanation, suggestion or answer to your question. I almost wish he wasn't just an OB/GYN doctor. He is so very helpful and has proven he knows what he is doing! Dr. Petkov is a great doctor!
