Dr Bakhru is the best of the best. He is very compassionate and kind. I was able to get my issue evaluated and fixed quickly and effectively. I’m so grateful for experts like him. I am on the road to recovery now and feel so much better.

I would leave 0 stars if possible. Dr. Bakhru provided the absolute worst medical experience to my wife. I attended each and every appointment with her and managed all of her correspondence with the office. His staff was abusive, belittling, berating, unprofessional and highly inappropriate toward my wife. Never in my life have I had to witness such harassment and mistreatment, of a cancer patient no less. Aside from his staff's deplorable behavior, he himself is unpleasant, unprofessional, and uninformed. He never seemed to recall my wife, her case, or her medical history, which was alarming at best and dangerous at worst. It is very difficult to transfer care mid-treatment, so as soon as it was possible we found a new doctor and thank God we did. He and his abusive staff really set the standard for what not to accept from medical providers. My wife is too kind to say this all herself, but I'm not! If you care about your loved one or yourself, go elsewhere.

Dr Bakhru is an amazing doctor. I went to 4 other doctors before finally finding him. The others were giving me so many drugs for a rare ectopic and the chemo was making me feel like I was Dying. I met Him- he recommended a simple procedure and I feel 1000x better already. His bedside manner, his calm understanding personality- he super intelligent and confident but not cocky. Recommend ?? out of 10!

My gynecologist referred me to Dr. Bakhru when an endometrial biopsy revealed some concerning results. He saw me immediately and was the kindest, most patient doctor I've ever had the (atypical) pleasure to deal with. He was informative, answered all my questions, and by his calm and compassionate demeanor, put my mind at rest. I was told that I needed and agreed to a total hysterectomy, performed by Dr. Bakhru, laparoscopically and using a Da Vinci Robot. At no point did I feel ambivalent about this highly recommended surgery. At every step of this unnerving journey, he was there with confident, comforting words and offered great followup! Dr. Bakhru is the real deal...like doctors used to be! I feel incredibly lucky to have been referred to this exceptional doctor! Do like I did...read his reviews from Tallahassee (from where he's recently relocated)....ALL his patients were sad to see him go! As several of them said, Tallahassee's loss is Scottsdale's gain. Lucky me:)

When ur fighting for ur life u need a Dr who will have ur back and even fight ur battles for u when ur too weak, that's Dr. B!! I was terminal after exhausting all treatment options in Tallahassee so he referred me for clinical trials at another hospital and I was denied, but dr.B didn't take no for an answer. We found a study that i was an excellent candidate for and he went to the department head and demanded treatment. That was a year ago, as of Feb 2019 i am cancer free...thank you for fighting for my life Dr. Bakhru, we miss u <3

Had surgery in Scottsdale, not in Mesa. Super caring and great at explaining the situation. Had hysterectomy robotically with no blood loss or complications. His staff at Ironwood need some training, but he was very caring and a great surgeon.

Arizona - you just gained an absolutely A++ FANTASTIC doctor. Tallahassee's great loss is Arizona's great gain. He is not only a great physician but a great human being. 3 years post diagnosis and still counting. MISS YOU Dr. Bakhru

For this to be the scariest thing i have had to go through so far in my 61 years Dr. Bakhru was the most wonderful doctor. His bed side manner is wonderful and the words of encouragement through everything made a total difference. I really hated to see him leave the cancer center. However...i was almost through will all my treatments and i am on my way to a new life with out cancer. I cried the day he told me he was leaving mainly because it is so hard to find a good doctor and we had been through so much together. i pray he has a wonderful new life in his new practice and hundreds of women get to enjoy having a great doctor. love you Dr. Bakhru!!!! Dr. Bakhru has treated me for ovarian cancer and all that entails for 2.5 years. He is a truly exceptional doctor, the best I have ever known. Extremely knowledgeable, skilled and a very good communicator. He is dependable, amazingly accessible and compassionate. A rare thing indeed! If you are unlucky enough to need a gynecological oncologist, you would be lucky to have Dr. Bakhru as your doctor. He is exceptional and irreplaceable.
