I was referred to Dr. Behrend by a good friend of mine, and have nothing but praises to sing about the way he treats his patients , going over and above to make sure that they get what they need with love and compassion.. he is the first doctor I’ve ever had of many that actually listens to my concerns and works with me to accomplish a common goal.

Dr. Behrend is wonderful. He is very caring and considerate and explains every step in the process. I have total faith in him when I have two separate spinal surgeries before the end of the year. I have referred several friends to him. I hope they follow up and make an appointment

Terrible experience. Scheduled surgery for me, had secretary cancel it five days before it was to happen. He never even followed up with me. I had to fly to California for a serious spinal fusion. Find a different doctor.

This man is an ass. Request a different doctor. I have 3 compression fractures on my spine and from the time he walked into the room to the time he walked out, it was less than 5 minutes. All he did was hand me a piece a paper from the radiologist. He didn't explain anything and I ended up having to do my own research to figure out what to do. The PA that initially diagnosed me, made me feel like a patient. Dr. Behind made me feel like a number. Nothing he said to me needed to be done in person, he could have called me. I suspect that he wanted me to set up an in-person appointment, because it's easier to bill the insurance company that way.

I have been having back pain for years and was told on the mri I got that I had a herniated disc and bertolotti's syndrome which I brought up every single time I went into that office as I believe that is the main source of all my issues but decided to go ahead with surgery anyway to fix my disc. so 3 months later and im still depending on opiods and smoothing out the disc didn't do anything. what should have happened was a discetomy or a spinal fusion and the bertiollis should have been addressed. I am now seeing a different dr In hopes this one will do the appropriate surgery necessary so I don't have to depend on pain pills the rest of my life. oh and seeing the actual Dr that did your surgery before and after. good luck! I'm sure Dr behrand is highly skilled and does great for others but I deeply regret not getting 2nd opinions.

Too much wait time...52 minutes in waiting room, 59 minutes in the office room...4 minutes with the doctor...need to figure this out

I specifically scheduled an appointment with him and waited over an hour before the PA (which is the one who told me to see him) came in as a substitute. It was a waste of my time and disrespectful to me and my time.
