David Herbert's Online Review Report Card

Dr Herbert did a procedure on me and he was not able to sedate me but he went ahead with it anyway!! I was in Terrible pain!! Unbelievable! He was always arrogant and unprofessional. He told me that the sedation problem never happened before and I asked him why he didn’t take a minute to ask me if I wanted to proceed without sedation. He had no answer! He panicked and did trigger point injections. I lost all faith in him and would only work with his PA Joy. She is great. Now I hear he is retiring! Thank God!

Dr. Herbert is truly one in a million. It is immediately apparent that he cares so much about his patients and like others have said, his humor is refreshing. He is extremely professional and in my case, extraordinarily educational. I have been trying to find the source of my cervical/head pain for over 30 years and I have seen specialists of every modality that I can think of. Dr. Herbert explained the problem rather immediately and came up with a thorough, conservative approach to treating my pain and I haven't felt this good in so long. Unfortunately, my injuries are too dangerous to fix as they are very close to the brainstem and he is the very first person to tell me this. I feel that he was exceptionally honest and realistic. I appreciate him so much and I highly, highly recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Great experience with Dr Herbert. On time, very personable, explained exactly what the procedure involved. I am very pleased.

Dr Herbert is such a great guy. He's honest about expectations and conservative in his approach. He's very professional... with a dry wit that is, somehow, refreshing! I will gladly recommend him to friends, family and strangers without hesitation.

Dr. Herbert is no nonsense. He is courteous and calls all is patient's "ma'am" or "sir". Unless you have been with him a long time, he comes across as brusk. He is not interested in getting to know you.. He calls it like he sees it, which I appreciate. I can deal with a doctor who is not the most friendly as like as he or she is a good doctor. I have been to many pain doctors due to a variety of reasons (doctor moves, becomes ill, retires or I move or change doctors because I am not getting the help I need). Dr. Herbert gives me injections and he is extremely talented at finding the places that need injections. I have been to some pain doctors who are really cannot do this. If you need injections I highly recommend him.

Do not let him do an injection without a current MRI. 3rd. Epideral made it 100 Times worse.Asked for MRI after 2nd injection he said " not yet ". I could have avoided a huge amount of pain, time off of work,etc. If he would have let me get an MRI first.
