Very nice staff and outstanding doctor. Dr Hernandez is very kind, professional, and answered all my questions. Excellent doctor!!

This is the worst I have ever been treated and spoken to by a doctor. Refused to help me, gave no solutions to my issue and verbatim told me “There is not a doctor in the entire world that can help you” and “You’ll just have to deal with this until you’re 50.” His use of language seemed to discourage me from seeking further care for this issue. He also kept cutting me off when I spoke, would not let me complete sentences and started berating me within 2 minutes of the appointment starting. The entire thing lasted maybe 5 minutes. Bedside manner is abysmal. Lovely front office and nursing staff though. I had hopes to be treated like a person.

Dr. Hernandez didn't treat me very well after I followed my oncologists advice to have a double mastectomy rather than the mammosite radiation that he (Dr. Hernandez) recommended. He scheduled me to come in 3 days after my surgery to receive my pathology report (after driving 50 miles) only to arrive at a full waiting room with standing room only. The wait was 3-5 hours. When I asked the receptionist if I could access the back door and wait on the couch, I was denied. I said I couldn't wait and told her to have him call me. He called me about 7pm that evening and berated me for not waiting to see him. When I pointed out that I was in pain and needed to rest and recover from my surgery and the waiting room was too crowded and there was nowhere to sit, he screamed and yelled at me. He was unsympathetic, uncaring, and a total jerk. He clearly doesn't care about his patients as much as he expects his patients to idolize him. From the minute I decided to have surgery rather than have another failed mammosite radiology treatment, I felt abused and abandoned. It was a horrible experience and I cannot recommend him.

Dr. Hernandez is the best at what he does. His entire staff is always friendly and upbeat and easy to talk to. Dr. H is truly great at making the best of difficult situations and the entire process with him was a total breeze. I can't help but comment on a previous review on Yelp that had criticized his 'bedside manner' and I'd like to say that my experience was the complete and total opposite of that. Having been into the office 20+ times over a 2-year period, I can't even imagine Dr. Hernandez being anything other than polite, courteous, and professional. He is the only person I'd recommend for someone I care about.

Dr Hernandez was my surgeon 9 years ago for a bilateral mastectomy and now I have been referred back to him by Dr. Finkle to check a spot on my breast. I can't say enough of nice things about him. He is an amazing doctor. He goes out of his way to help each and every patient of his. I just can't say enough good things about him. I trust him completely and couldn't be happier. I will continue to follow up with him.

Don’t understand all the problems with hernia mesh. I am seeing the TV info-mercial all the time. Where the mesh can cause bowl obstruction, chronic pain, repair surgery and infection. Dr. Hernandez repaired my hernia with mesh nearly twenty five years ago. I’ve had zero complications with the mesh. Therefore tells me Dr. H. did a great job. I’ve utilized his talents twice. Dr. Hernandez is an incredible doctor. Very empathetic and does his job extremely well. I had a double mastectomy due to breast cancer and his office got me in right away. He was very thorough, supported me with my decisions and listened to my concerns. He made himself available for any questions or concerns and eased our worries. So thankful and blessed to found him. Surgery went well. Had a Goldilocks procedure that is skin and nipple sparing. Dr. Rimma Finkle did the reconstruction. They were an amazing team!

Do yourself a favor and if you are ever in need of a breast surgeon, go to Dr. Hernandez. I was referred to him for an urgent matter, and he saw me the next day, first thing in the morning. I have never waited more than 10 minutes (from entering his office) to see him. Through in office procedures, he helped me avoid surgery. He is kind, understanding, knowledgeable, caring, and respectful. I can’t say enough nice things, the man is just an amazing doctor. His office staff is also all extremely kind, from the first person you meet, to the last person you talk to before you leave, this office is 100% the best.

I was referred to Dr. Hernandez as well as Dr. Finkle for double mastectomy with implants and reconstruction surgery as I am a high risk cancer gene carrier. I couldn't be Happier. Both physicians informed me took the time to explain and answer my questions. Dr Finkle kept a close eye on me coming to see me in the hospital every day. Dr Hernandez called me personally to see how I was doing after my set back. Both of these doctors are WONDERFUL...Thank you Dr. Hernandez and Dr. Finkle

I chose this location for my treatment after removal of a follicular lymphoma at the bottom of my eye orbit because of Dr. Woo (radiation oncologist), with whom I'm extremely satisfied. He referred me initially to Dr. Farooqui, a medical oncologist whom I would not have chosen because he's new to the practice, but I'm very impressed with him, as well. He found no spread body-wise, so I returned to Dr. Woo for radiation. I could not be more pleased with my treatment: the efficiency and warmth of the radiation department is of the highest order. Don't want more cancer, but if it happens, I'll return here.
