First time there today. The doc explained everything she was doing and why she was doing it. I was amazed at the results of the pictures inside my eyes and all that they told the doc that I didn’t have wrong with my brain and blood vessels. It’s not super cheap, but it’s not Costco. If you have VSP you can get very cheap frames (VSP covers the first $200). At my age, I need to upgrade my reading power every few years. I chose to pay another hundred to get frames I liked.

I’ve been going to Ocotillo Eyecare for over 15 years. Dr. Powell is an amazing doctor. The office staff is always welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend them!

I am a new patient for Ocotillo Eyecare, they were recommended to me by a colleague who has been a longtime customer. From the initial phone call to set up my new patient appointment through check out of my initial visit, I was treated professionally and with the utmost of kindness from their entire staff. Dr. Horowitz is compassionate and caring, she truly is passionate about her profession. It felt great to experience that there are still healthcare professionals out there who really do care about the well-being of their patients. The great news is I do not need glasses but if I did, I was blown away with quality and selection of their eyewear in the main lobby, lots of brand names looked available! I will be patient for life.

Matthew Compeau is the new Practice Manager @ Ocotillo Eyecare. He, Sydney and Michelle and all the Receptionists are doing a FANTASTIC JOB! I highly recommend Ocotillo Eyecare, have gotten some glasses I just live there and would not be without as well as my sunglasses. It’s just so worth it. Thank you, Matthew and Team!

New to the area. Was referred by an associate. Was surprised to have an appointment on Xmas eve, but grateful. I was seen promptly. Staff was very professional and friendly. Great experience. Will also refer.

I do not recommend, awful experience. Non responsive to phone calls and voicemails. Front desk does not know how to order contacts correctly, bill fitting correctly and bill insurance properly. Staff takes no responsibility for their unprofessional business. Worst eye care service!

Avoid this place! One mistake acceptable, two mistakes questionable, over three mistakes unprofessional and unskilled staff. Never put in order for contacts, then doctor conducted an incorrect eye exam resulting in the wrong prescription, next staff billed insurance incorrectly plus charged fitting fee incorrectly. Non responsive to voicemail and texts. Take your business elsewhere. Avoid the hassle and headache.
