AVOID THESE SCAMMERS!!!!! This place is full of liers, dishonest and greedy people starting with the very top - Dr. Terri. I had an appointment to see Dr. Terri and left after I was informed that this will be billed as a routine exam but they filed a collection against me for something I was never seen for!!!!!! I spoke to someone and she asked me for details and said someone will get back. 5 months in now - I called them numerous times, left voice mails but never heard back. Places like these need to be shut down and their license cancelled. I hope authorities take a notice of this malpractice and take action. Till then, the best we can do is educate public to avoid them like a plague.
I lost my gallbladder thanks to the care I didn't receive. Horrible experience with Dr. Amini and AZ Pain Docs that I was referred to. Save your organs literally and go somewhere else.
So frustrated. Ready to go to another provider. Been trying to get a prescription filled for 5 days now. Office says they've faxed over the script, pharmacy says they haven't heard anything. I physically went into the office today with my med bottle and said there's a snag, pharmacy is saying one thing while you are saying another. Round and round we go.
This office used to be great. Now half of the practitioners left. Because of that, you cannot get an appointment for three weeks. I'm pretty sure they left because of the horrible office staff. I have always had trouble getting referrals, orders, and medications sent in a timely manner. Then when I call, I'm told to leave a message, then they don't call back. This is not a new problem. It has been ongoing for years. I'm finally leaving and following my provider who left to her new location. If anyone wants to know where Amber went to, it's queen creek health center. Thank god I found her! If I had to rely on this office any longer, I'd be dead
I've been in Arizona for 16 years now. I've had several PCPs here; a few reasonably good, several, not so much. Dr. Barbee is the best I've encountered during this time. Dr. Barbee is easy to talk to, and very responsive to problem resolution. Good doctor, nice person; winning combination.
I've been a patient of Dr Barbee for a few years, and have always been very impressed by her caring attitude. Her medical knowledge, aided by her care and appreciation for the well-being of her patients, implemented in an efficient and friendly office, provides for a high quality of medical care that is hard to find these days.During the COVID-19 days, Dr Barbee offers telemedicine, as well as in-office visits as needed. I had both types of visits in last few months. The telemedicine visit was smooth and comfortable. I had another question a few minutes after the visit was completed and called the office. Within a few minutes I was surprised to receive a call from the doctor herself, not a staff member, making sure all questions and concerned are addressed and I feel confident and comfortable. The in-person visit was set up to completely safeguard the patients and the office staff, new exam rooms were added to allow for distancing, everyone was wearing masks, and the entire area was kept sanitized. Of course, all the ordinary measures, like calling from the car, taking your temperature, etc. were perfectly in place. In spite of the restrictions due to COVID-19, Dr Barbee and her staff were extremely caring, prompt, thorough, and making the patients feel comfortable in every way. She is a bright point in a difficult time.
Did the video visit with Dr Barbee. As usual she was very thorough and answered all my questions! She is always a joy to talk to!
Dr. Barbee takes her time to LlSTEN. She is patient, supportive, and knowledgeable. Also, Diane, N.P., listens, explains. Both put you at ease and makes you comfortable. Would recommend her practice to anyone -already have - my husband.
I have seen the nurse practitioner, Diane, several times and am so pleased with the care I have gotten from her. She took the time to be thorough and get to know me and my medical history. The questions she asked and suggestions she made really showed me that she cared. In the medical field it seems rare to get this type of genuine care. And the office time was very pleasant and efficient, another rarity in this field! I plan to only go to Barbee Primary Care going forward.
I am pleased with the doctors and the care they provide; however, it is extremely frustrating to try and make an appointment or leave a message for your doctor on the phone. No matter what time of day one calls, you get a recording directing you to the appropriate place. The "appropriate place," however, cannot receive any more messages because its voicemail system is full and not accepting any messages or because an error occurred. You end up booking an appointment online through Zocdoc. I did that the first time I went there and the staff told me not to do that because they never got the correct information and didn't have any record of my appointment. When you call for three days and never can get through to a real person or leave a message for the doctor's assistant, you run out of options.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
