Rama Devineni's Online Review Report Card

Long wait, doesn't explain, always in a hurry, gave me a wellness test when I didn't need it and insurance refused to pay it. I changed doctors.

She closed her office and joined a big group. No notice to her patients. We cannot get our medical records. Many problems getting prescriptions refilled.

Billing department is ALL over the place. They told me to ignore a $131 bill because it's still going through my insurance. Then their automated line calls me saying to pay the bill so I call them back to pay and the rep says NOT to pay the bill yet. I just got a report that they sent the bill to COLLECTIONS and it's now on my CREDIT!!! I am awaiting their office to call me back.

Doctor D is a no nonsense doctor that is very interested in assuring you have the correct treatment and medication. She is not a pill pusher, but will recommend those medications that are most likely to be of benefit. The thing that I find very nice is she LISTENS.

Dr Devineni is such a compassionate, listening and understanding Dr. I've had several Dr's that hurried you thru the appointment and I've never felt that with Dr. Devineni - she always makes sure all my questions are answered. I trust her explicitly! So glad I kept looking for a good Dr - They do exist! Thank you Dr. Devineni for all that you do for your patients....The staff is every bit as attentive and courteous - Kudos to them!

Here is an up-date on my life considering you are the Doctor who destroyed it. The Doctor who would not fill out the paper work correctly for my job or my long term disability until I could get the medical treatment I needed. I have lost my job and my benefits thank you very much. I am now surviving on my life savings and it is being depleted very quickly. I not only found out that the Ethicon Polypropylene mesh Dr. Hernandez placed in me in 2007 is the same mesh Dr. Castillo placed in me in 2008. Considering that you and many other Doctors are so uneducated on putting a medical device in a patient who is allergic and the damage it can cause I will tell you. My body radiates with pain, I itch on the inside, I am nauseated, my respiratory is compromised, insomnia, depression, anxiety, my hands, legs and feet hurt so bad it makes it difficult to get out of bed in the morning. This only goes to prove the longer this defective medical device remains in me the sicker I am going to become. I was finally given a referral to see Dr. Castillo to have the mesh removed, put an end to this illness and to finally get my life back. I thought... Dr. Castillo has refused to remove the mesh stating he is afraid it would be to risky and that he could cause more damage trying to remove the mesh due to I am so thin. The one surgeon who I trusted to remove the mesh will not perform the surgery. I would rather die on the operating table than spend the rest of my life with this mesh inside of me. I wish I was writing this up-date thanking you for being such a good doctor, thanking you for taking such good care of me and helping me to get through this illness but as you know and I know as a doctor you failed me. Maybe I would of got better treatment and more compassion if I would have been your daughter and not someone elses daughter. My hope is that in some way this will have an impact on you so that you will never treat another patient the way that you have treated me.

Probably one of the worst doctor's offices I've been to. The front staff are not friendly at all...they don't greet you or acknowledge you when you walk in-it's as if they don't care. When you're not feeling well, you at least want the staff to care and say "hi". There is no sign-in sheet so you just stand there waiting for the girl to get off of the phone to check you in-all the while she does not even make eye contact. By the way, the front office staff is the same as the back office staff. There are only 2 girls & they do both. But the worst is that when you ask for a copy of your lab reports or other reports & they say they can't give you a copy-that they have to get it from a 3rd party medical records & that this can take up to 7 days to receive is just ridiculous & I know they have a copy because the Dr just went over it! The Dr talks so fast that it was hard to understand her. She follows the protocol of just subscribing more pills instead of taking the conservative approach.

Dr. Devineni is a great Doctor - she seems very knowledgeable and spent a good deal of time with me. I do feel the office is understaffed as the same girl who takes your weight, blood pressure, etc (CNA) is also the same person who answers phones, checks people in, make you copies and schedules appointments, etc. Because of this, checking in is inefficient. I do feel the office & rooms could be cleaner. But overall, I would highly recommend Dr. Devineni!
