List of Robin Obenchain's Reviews
Dr Obenchain has been treating my low Platelets for many years. She is an excellent doctor and always has time to discuss treatments and risks. I trust her 100%
Dr. Obenchain is a nice enough and caring doctor. Her staff is horrible and for this reason i can’t recommend them. They never return any calls. You have to call over and over and get upset for them to finally maybe do something! I had to have my primary care doctor contact office on my behalf to get anything moving. Here i am again trying to schedule a follow up after a procedure i have scheduled and can’t get it scheduled because her staff always tells me they will call me back and then they never do! I wish i could contact her directly but haven’t found a way to do that. It’s sad because if it was just her there and not her staff i could recommend but because of her staffs lack of efficiency and compassion i can only give this office 1 star.
I moved here from Illinois and my AZ family dr referred me to Dr. Oberchain. She has been great about checking to make sure my cancer hasn’t returned. Then I had a video appointment during the beginning of the pandemic. I had mentioned a problem I noticed, that had nothing to do with her field. She said I needed it checked ASAP. I told her that probably no one would see me because of the pandemic. She said she would find someone to see me. After she made many calls to specialists trying to find a dr working that would see me, she called me back with the information. She could have very well saved my life! Just shows how much she really cares!
Dr Obenchain and her staff are exceptional. Everyone in this office is very caring yet professional. They truly care about you as an individual. Thank you!
I would highly recommend Dr Robin Obenchain; as I was recently diagnosed with Cancer. Nobody wants to hear the C Word; however, she was so gentle in her approach that I suddenly felt at ease. I can't even explain how amazing she was in explaining and getting me to all the right doctors. She was extremely thorough and personable. She spent time with me and my family and, I did not feel rushed at all. I actually praise the Lord for leading me to her. I'm so very Thankful!!!
Competent, caring, listener, wise, careful, warm, capable, relational, invested, empathetic, supportive, peaceful, genuine, bright, humble. She embodies the calling of “doctor”. Superior person,
Dr. Obenchain initially appeared to me to be very competent, soft-spoken and kind. I was scared and her calm and confident manner was what I needed. However, my B/P kept rising on each visit, and my weight was also rising due to extreme water retention. No, it wasn't the scales that needed recalibrating. I was left "hanging" as to what to do. Do I go to my primary care doctor or does Dr. Oberchain address it? Well, she didn't, so I stopped the chemo after about seven months. Unfortunately, I ended up in an East Valley hospital E.R. and was admitted to the hospital for a week where they literally drained gallons of excess fluid from my body. I then went to Boston to Dana Farber Cancer Institute (the BEST). I was staying my daughter in Connecticut. Shortly after my arrival I went into seizures and ended up at Hartford Hospital ICU for a week due to PRES syndrome. I was hooked up to a respirator and it was literally touch and go for that week. I had left my husband to "take care of things" while I was away for treatment at Dana Farber. Shortly thereafter things progressed even worse, as my husband had a heart attack and died while I was 3,000 miles away from home. I never got to say good-bye. To say 2017 was a nightmare is an understatement. It is my opinion that if Dr. Obenchain had recognized that I desperately needed to be monitored more closely, some of the traumatic side effects I ultimately suffered could have been avoided. I wish I could be more positive, but I was left with and still to this day have very negative feelings about the nightmare I went through. I am still fighting cancer, but at least I know that everything that can be done is being done.
The word cancer scared me so much. Dr. Obenchain guided me every step of the way. I've never met a more caring doctor. She spent lots of time with me and my husband. She never once made me feel rushed. She explained all of our options. She made the big C word no so scary after all. I'm glad that I went with my gut after the first cancer center made me feel like just a number and therefore we got a second opinion- So glad we switched to Dr. Obenchain!
Dr.Obenchain its the best dr.i ever had shes is an Angel. She cares about you.Best dr.ever i had.The customer service its ExelentVery friendly.
We like Dr Obenchains bedside manner. She always listens intently and never feel like we are hurried through our appt. My husband is Dr Obenchains patient and would highly recommend her.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
