Scott Partridge's Online Review Report Card

I would just like to put a great big shout-out to Dr. Scott Partridge at MomDoc in Chandler. I happened upon him a few years ago when I needed an annual exam/pap smear/mammo order, and my regular primary care physician wasn't available. Boy am I sure glad I did! He has been the most amazing physician, and I always thought I would only feel comfortable with a female OBGYN. That is just not true! He puts you immediately at ease with his great bedside manner and calm, patient explanations and answering of questions that aptly shows his expertise and experience without sounding egotistical or superior. He's like a kindly older uncle. This last time I needed to get in quickly due to an unexplained lump in my private area, and not only was I able to get an appointment for the next day but when I called to say I was running a few minutes late, the receptionist said to go anyway and say "Corporate" sent me. Not only did they see me but, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Partridge not only examined and took a culture from the offending lump but also offered and I agreed to have him go ahead and do my annual exam as well, even though it wasn't due for another couple months! I am just so impressed with this office and its people, particularly this amazing doctor. If I had gone to med school instead of law school, I think I would have wanted to become an OBGYN just like him! Thank you for everything, Dr. Partridge!

If you are having a baby, do not go here! You will hardly ever see the same nurse or doc. I ended up delivering with Partridge which I had never met before. He pushed me to C-section, which ended horribly. Cut me too deep and I got infected. Then at later check up gave me wrong antibotics (not to be used while nursing). Also, another doc there perscribed me antibiotics that I told her I was allergic too (shown on my chart and noted at appt). When infection finally went away I had to continue dealing with them because of constant misbilling. Looked good at begining but ended up being a horrible choice. My advice: Do not make the same one.

i seem to be 15 mins. early and they are always 45 to an hour late. (3 times) i go back because i like Dr. Partridge thatsbthe only reason

As with the other author, this is for the practice as a whole, mostly. I found Partridge to be a little rude and snotty. I was told that when I delievered, one of the doctors would deliver me. Well, it turned out some random doctor that I had never even heard of before delivered my baby. He doesn't even belong to their practice!! Also, do not owe these people even one dollar past due or they come after you like you owe them thousands. I mean, they come into your exam room before the doctor and lecture you. Even the check-in girls bully you. They're pretty much all rude to begin with, anyways. The only highlight of this practice are the medical assistants/nurses in the back. They are super friendly and knowledgeable.

Had to have an emergency hyster. He did not explain the after effects at all. I was in and out of the hospital with complication twice and never saw him again?

This is a rating of the Goodman and Partridge Group of Doctors. I never specifically say Partridge. In 5 appointments, I saw 5 doctors, all of whom were unaware of anything on my chart. I was not "allowed" to see the same doctor every time. All but one were nice, but didn't have any clear answers and were in a rush to leave. As a first time mom with many questions, I was constantly told to read the guide they gave me instead (which didn't have the answer). I always waited 30 plus minutes for a 5 min appointment. I decided to switch in my 2nd trimester to Dr. Seymann in Mesa. He is awesome. He is what a doctor should be. It took Goodman and Partridge 2 months to send my chart. That's unacceptable in the 4th month of a 9 month pregnancy!

I had a hysterectomy. I felt a stitch pop upon vomiting after awakening from the surgery, but no one believed me. A few days later, the entire skin incision burst open. My mother took me to the emergency room where nurse scolded me and told me I was too fat to have had the surgery...he didn't show up. They left me laying open and refused to even document my visit. I went directly to his office nearby where an old nurse taped it together. Later, after a 3rd opinion, the enormous herniation was fixed at Mayo Clinic. There is no documentation of any of this by either Chandler regional or Dr. Partridge's office, I assume, to evade responsibility. The Mayo surgery was fantastic. They said he should have inserted some type of "screen" to help stability of my abdomen, and Mayo also added an external elastic belt to help support until healing had completed (a few weeks). I had originally asked Dr. Partridge if I should wear a girdle or any support; he said it wasn't necessary.

He was not only great during pregnancy, with my c-section, and my hospital stay, but he listened to me and helped me through a reaction to my spinal block. Very knowledgable and dependable. I made the change from a terrible OB in the Gilbert area to this group of doctors and never looked back. The only problem I had with this office is that the wait can be up to an hour, which I think, is a rude waste of patient's time, but a little understandable in the OB business. The cool thing was that they have/had a massage therapist come in and give treatments sometimes while you waited!

He was extremely knowledgable and took all of the time he needed to to be thorough.
